It was an instagram ad. Something about teachers making a deal with my tomboyx and selling discontinued and super doscounted underwear to raise money for teachers and clear out surplus stock

Site was selling tomboy x at extremely low prices. They used a video from TomboyX's employee as a part of the ad.

An Instagram ad, posing as TomboyX, using one of their videos, offered a huge sale on their clothing items. But the website linked to teacherule.com, and going directly to tomboyx’s website, I saw there was no big sale. Luckily, I only lost a bunch of time and noticed the scam before I paid or put in personal details.

I clicked on an ad talking about a great tomboyx sale and it took me to a site that looked identical to the tomboyx site except it had a different domain name

Their ad appeared on my Facebook page and looked identical to the TomboyX website. I have previously purchased items from TomboyX. Nothing looked out of the ordinary except for the very cheap prices. They said it was a sale for Pride month. When I got the order receipt it was from teachable.com. However on my credit card, the charge was made by Singleantrendymallfitwell 568-6780825 CA.

It was an ad on Instagram showing a sale for TomboyX Pride clothing on sale for under $2-8 with a Learn More link that takes you to a website that looks exactly like TomboyX website. I noticed the url was not TomboyX and searched to see if it’s a scam. So I did not purchase anything and reported the ad on Instagram.

The spoofed a website that I was looking at previously - assuming it was a good deal. Unfortunately I didn't triple check that I wasn't on the correct website before hitting purchase and it hit me moments after. I requested a refund, locked my card, and now playing the waiting game. I never fall for these things and the one time I wasn't diligent...

They used a TomboyX video with a learn more link that led to an amazing sale. I did not pay attention to the fact that it was not the TomboyX site until after the fact.
