On Monday, October 26, 2026 at 8:00 PM PT, I received an unsolicited text message claiming that a loan was approved with no collateral. The message was addressed to the wrong name, Christopher, and did not name a lender. It read: "NO COLLATERAL Christopher - your loan are approved tarsir.com/mKkx3W just select your bank - arrives right away". I never applied for a loan. I did not open the link and I lost no money ($0). The linked domain, tarsir.com, was registered the same day, October 26, 2026, via NameCheap, which is a red flag for a newly created advance-fee loan phishing site asking the recipient to select their bank.
