I was contacted to act as a mystery shopper. I was asked to visit two Target locations and purchase $1000 worth of target gift cards, they provided a check for $2550.00 to perform the purchases. I made the first purchase of $1000.00, I confirmed the purchase with Mark Armour and later that night I received a notice that the check I had deposited had bounced. I sent a text to the Mark asking him what was going on. He said it was a mishap and the funds would be returned. I did not trust this so I returned to the store and returned the gifts and recovered the $1000.00 initially spent. However, I had a bounced check fee, I overdrafted and ruined my week. I have filed a complaint with target corporate and the Federal Trade Commission.

I’ve been receiving text to my personal phone number every so often addressing a person named Joselyn (that is not my name and I’m also a male). I never called the number nor did I text ‘STOP’. I found it in my phone dating all the way back to 01/08/12. I only found it because I’ve received to of these types of text in the last month addressing Joselyn. I found out today that I should report these text to BBB. So sorry for the 8 year delay.
