I searched online for some garden equipment - and SunJoePro popped up selling just what I searched for (used Google to search for "leaf mulcher"). I love Sun Joe and the website looked real - but turns out it wasn't legit. When I went to pay, they directed me to pay using Pay Pal. (I should have know better!) but after paying I received no confirmation email from the company, just a notice that I had paid "Lous Khan" money using PayPal. When I went to check my order status on the website, they said my email was invalid and no way to see my order - no record of it except for the PayPal receipt. I tried to contact customer service - no luck. Product never came.

Online Retailer Scam

Made a purchase for a physical product. I had to make a PayPal account as well as a sunjoepro.com account in order to place the order. Once the order went through I was provided an email via PayPal stating the amount authorized, the merchant’s name and my personal shipping information. Once the money was taken out of my account I could not access my sunjoepro.com account. I requested password recovery links which I never received any. I emailed the seller via the email provided on their website and kept getting error messages about my email not being able to send/deliver. I contacted PayPal for a dispute which ended with me getting my PayPal account permanently closed.
