SCAM

So this 'aggressive and rude' Sullivan & Associates called my cell looking for my sister. They called from 855-792-1589. When the 'guy' asked could I forward a message or give him my sisters number, I declined, he said I had no choice but to keep getting calls from them until I gave my sister a message...uhm 'cease & desist' as well as 'take me off your call list' - he refused then hung up on me. I called back blocking my number...no answer/straight to voicemail #SCAMMERS

They have my husband's social security #

Sullivan & associates called from (816)297-0336 claiming my husband owes Wells Fargo Bank and they are attempting to collect said debt. They even had my husband's social security number. When I attempted to call back I got a voice-mail. My husband has the (816) area code but we longer live in that area and he's never had any accounts or business in the 816 area. I feel like they are using a spoof phone number because I can not connect that number to a law firm in Kansas City or the surrounding area. I'm just worried about them having his social security number! I'm not sure how to handle that!

I just received that same phone call but from a different number. they even served me papers today at my work for a wells fargo credit card debt from 2002. Funny thing is, I never had a line of credit with wells fargo. I called them to confirm and got proof from transunion. Called these people back and told them it was bogus and I have proof. They got nasty and said "see you in court" and hung up

Calling about a legal matter that pertains to a family member

Called and asked for my brother. Tried to get his number from me. When I refused he asked if I could forward the message. Then when I asked him what his company was so I could forward the I fo he told me I was being difficult then hung up. When I tried to call back he hung up on me. I was so mad I could have crushed my phone.

Collection scam

They left a voicemail on my father’s number which he forwarded to me. They’ve called before, to my job and I called them back to tell them to stop the calls or be sued. They responded aggressively and wasn’t trying to hear that I knew the law and proceeded to hang up on me. I tried calling right back, but they wouldn’t answer. This most recent call came with a reference number, Ref#116704. The other calls also had reference numbers, but I have since tossed them out because they will stop calling for a little while then they start up the bs fishing expedition that they are currently on with the calls to my parents.

They have called my family members, my job and when I called them to tell them they were to cease and desist with contacting my place of business and my relatives, and asking for more info (that he didn’t have) the person got very nasty, told me that they could and would continue with the calls and someone will be calling back. He then cowardly proceeded to hang up on me. I tried calling right back and they wouldn’t answer. Let the call go to a scripted voicemail. He wasn’t too happy that I knew my consumer rights and that we have a right to request and they must comply otherwise they could be subject to a lawsuit themselves. I use to work for collections so I know a few of their tactics.

I am glad to see that this is a scam. Luckily it reached me and not him because I would be worried he might know it was a scam.

Robo Call from Sullivan and Associates

Left message stating I must call them immediately. Here is transcript:

"this message is being logged by Sullivan and Associates as an attempt to reach … “Hi. This is in reference to a formal complaint, please call the corporate office at (855) 243 4673. If you have any questions, this matter is time sensitive and does require your immediate attention. If there is no response, the firm will move forward with the necessary actions required to resolve this matter. This message is in reference to file number 103101. Again, the number to Sullivan and associates is (855) 243 4673.

I do not have any outstanding debt or owe anyone money. Blocking this number. SCAM!

I got this exact message, different file #. They have called my family members as well as my brothers manager at a large company. How embarrassing. I too have no outstanding debt or owe anyone money. They are relentless, I have reported to the FTC, however this has been going on for years and I don't see an end in sight.

Caller claimed I owed money to bank, he was so very rude. Told me I was the problem with this country because I dont pay by debt, it's people like me that make it hard on others and they will see to it that I get sued. Called me demanding I pay US Bank when I have no record of having a bank account with that bank at all. Then proceeded to tell me they have mailed out proof to my address when they haven't. They have not sent a detailed bill. Absolutely nothing
