Abut 6 months ago, my cousin got a call from Sullivan and Associates. I do not even talk to this cousin, but they gave me the message and told me to call Sullivan and Associates at the number 855-783-7778. I spoke with a couple of people at the collection company and told them they I did not owe the credit card they told me I owed. I think It was Capital One. I have a Capital One card now. I hung up on them and told them good luck! They did have all my information, tho.
I was served with a summons to appear in court regard the Capital One debt they claim I owe. I can’t afford a lawyer, and I really can't even take the day off of work. I am screwed.

These people are mean debt collectors, they don’t care if it's not your debt, they will take you to court. I wish I just settled the debt when I talked to them all those months ago, but now It's too late for the settlement, the best I can hope for is to avoid legal fees and try to keep my house.

Wish me good luck! I was one of the people who wrote a review on this site earlier, boy am I mistaken, this not a scam. THIS IS A LEGIT COMPANY WHO WILL DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN DO GET YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, BE CAREFUL AND DON’T MAKE MY MISTAKES

THEIR WEBSITE IS WWW.SULLIVAN-AND-ASSOCIATES.COM

Earlier this year I was contacted by Sullivan and Associates and was told that I owe $5412 from an old credit card. I signed up from this credit card years ago but I did not even use it. I don't deal with credit cards and I always pay my bills and check my credit report all the time. I told the man on the phone that I do not know what they are talking about and that they had the wrong person. The scary thing is that they have my social security number.

Two weeks after I spoke with Sullivan and Associates I noticed they put the credit card on my credit report, I called the credit companies and told them it is not mine. They told me to contact Sullivan and to try and dispute the debt. I sent some letters and disputed the debt but it was still on my credit reports. This is making me super mad! I do not owe this debt.

Well now fast forward two months and I goto try and re finance my mortgage and I find out that Sullivan and Associates has lien on my house! This is not fair! Apparently I missed my court date and Sullivan has a judgement against me now.

These people will come after your assets. They are ruthless debt collectors and I wished I would of just tried to settle this debt. They warned me of their intentions but I did not take the company seriously because of all this misleading information in this post from people who obviously do not like the pay their bills or do not care about their credit. My credit is damaged and I will have the pay the debt with their fees because of the lien

I WISH I MADE BETTER CHOICES WHEN DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY

READ THIS WHOLE MESSAGE BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY CHOICES

So I like everyone else here got the same voicemail message from Sullivan and Associates. I also received a letter from them in the mail, it went to my old address but mail forwarding sent it through to my current apartment. I basically ignored the calls and the written letter because I read these posts and figured this was not anything to worry about. I also check my credit report all the time and am very on top of all these things. I never heard of Sullivan and Associates so they must be scammers.

Well today I was called into HR at work and I was told that I have a wage garnishment ordered by the court system because of Sullivan and Associates. I was given the garnishment order and was informed my check would be slashed by 25%. I am livid right now, apparently a court case was filed against me and I missed the court date so they got a default judgement against me. All of this because of some credit card they claims I owe from years ago. THIS IS NOT FAIR! I called Public Assistance lawyers for my local county and they told me there was nothing they could do.

I never had this credit card and its not on my credit report and yet I have a wage garnishment. I do not know what to do. I called Sullivan and Associates and they told me I could of settled this case before hand. I would of rather of just paid the settlement because now I have to pay all the interest and court costs.

BE CAREFUL MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE ON THIS THREAD DO NOT TAKE THEIR FINANCIAL LIVES SERIOUSLY.

THIS IS A LEGIT COMPANY

Received a message saying that I was being sued and this was the last time they would contact me. It was a "courtesy call". The phone number was 424-542-0416 which is a Los Angeles number said the location was Beverly Hills. But they left the number 1-855-583-7778 to call back. The company is Sullivan and Associates.

Here's the message:

Hello, my name is Angela Brooks and I'm calling from the office of Sullivan and Associates. We received time sensitive documents regarding a pending complaint involving (my name). We've already mailed out several notices to the last address on file and we still have not received a response back. We are left with no other options. We will move forward with all necessary actions required to resolve this pending matter. This is a courtesy call to see if you have any questions. Please call Sullivan and Associates at 855-583-7778. Again the number is 855-583-7778.

I've been receiving calls like this from other numbers so I think this is either a bill or someone trying to scam me. Beware.

This is a debt collection company. I found their website: www.https://www.sullivan-and-associates.com/

I got a call from them as well.

I'm sorry their website is www.sullivan-and-associates.com

i made a mistake in the previous post.

I got a call from them too this is a debt collection company - I found their website: www.sullivan-associates.com

It says they are out of Mobile AL . I haven't called them back yet. but it seems like they have been in business for a long time a lot of people have gotten collection calls from them.

Yes! I just talked to the same 2 people, now they blocked me from calling. The David person even called me ignorant. Pam told me that she was going to mark the file as refusal to pay, and all I asked them was to send me something in the mail to my job or via certified mail, and Pam said that couldn't do that because they are a collection agency. When I asked her what the debt is for, she told me it was for a Visa Card for my husband for a particular company and I told her that I wasn't familiar with it, and when I said that, she hung up on me.

These people are ridiculous and HAVE NO LIFE!

The number that called my parents cell was 973-750-9164. They left a voicemail and said they were Angela Brooks calling from the offices of Sullivan and Associates. The voicemail transcription is as follows; "Hello. My name is Angela Brooks and I'm calling from the offices of Sullivan and Associates. We received time-sensitive documents regarding a pending complaint involving [computer says my maiden name]. We've already mailed out several notices to the last address on file and we still do not have a response back. The firm is left with no other options. We will move forward with all the necessary actions required to resolve this pending matter. This is a courtesy call to see if you have any questions. Please call Sullivan and Associates at 855-583-7778. Again, the number is 855-583-7778. It is imperative you return the phone call immediately. Please reference the case number, 154819." I told my parents to block the number as one, the computer generated voice said my maiden name (been married almost 20 years) and again it was a computer generation of the case number. The voice talent already sounded like an AI-generated voice but the name and case ID were like old school robotic.

My sister received a call from Sullivan and Associates saying that they had been sending letters to me at my last known address regarding a case and this was their last resort to get ahold of me. I have been at my current residence for almost 4 years and have received no letters in the mail or phone calls myself. My credit is stellar and I have no outstanding debts on my credit report so this cannot be a legitimate complaint. However, harassing my family should be illegal.

I received a phone call from (812)545-8128, claiming to be from Sullivan and Associates, they stated that they were moving forward with some sort of suit against my daughter, who they called by name. My daughter also lives in Southern California. I mention that because I read a similar account from someone who also had lived in Southern California. They also left a case number and the phone number (855)557-5845 for me to call with any inquiries. The other account that I referenced above claimed they requested $4000 from them.

I just file a complaint with the consumerfinance.gov. and encourage more people to do so. It only takes about 10 minutes.

I did the same but also sent a complaint to Texas attorney general Ken Paxton. I’m a 100%disabled combat war veteran on a fixed income. This is sick and how is it they are still in buisness? The debt that I’m not aware of is 19 almost 20 years old. This is illegal in so many ways!

I received a call from these people. Knowing I have no outstanding debt I ignored the call. Today I received a text from my brother-in-law that they had called him. I told him they were scammers, to ignore it and I would handle it. When I call the number left, 469.699.6795 I told them what they were doing is illegal, I have spoken to some of the attorneys I work for and we are looking into filing a suit. Whoever it was that answered the phone started yelling threatening unending calls to me and my family from the US and from India. He then said he was transferring me and after about a minute the call was disconnected. When I called back it went straight to voicemail. How convenient.
I check my finances daily, keep a freeze on my credit with all of the credit reporting agencies and know to the penny how much debt I possess. I had never heard of this company before, but as 25 year Paralegal, I'm not stupid. Whether it's this or anyone else, don't take their word for anything. If they claim to have sent you something, it should have been by certified mail and demand proof of delivery by signature.

A guy named David Martin contacted my brother looking for my mom from 571-370-4883 landline number, provided by Peerless Network. He then told my brother to have my mom call back at 1-855-599-2196. My mom not knowing what it was about, called back, and was then drilled about a debt that she didn't even have from 2006! They told her, that if she doesn't pay, they'll personally deliver her a subpoena lol!

What these [censored] didn't know, is that I've been a financial professional for over 20+ years and know this isn't the process! Pam proceeded to yell over me and I gave it right back to her! That's when she placed me on hold to "get her director" when I asked for the original debt collector, licenses, and account information. That's when the call ended! She hung up! lol

Please DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM! If a creditor is attempting to collect a debt, they'll contact you with proper information.

Please file a complaint with the Better Burea of Business!

The fact that they have some individual's personal information, is a real concern!

I had 2 different people calling me saying that they are from Sullivan associates to collect a debt that is over 10 years old. They said I ignored some paperwork that they sent me a long time with no response. I never received anything. They said I need to pay or they will take me to court to the fullest. I have searched this company and nothing. I have seen others got the same call as me. They called from one number then giving me a toll free number to call which was different from what they called from. The last phone call they called me was from a private number. I haven't given them money or anything. They do know my social security number though.

I just filed a complaint a few minutes ago but they continue to contact me. I have asked continually for documentation, none can be provided, and this was his email response when I complained on their website.

Your debt is marked as a refuse to pay.

This speaks to your family’s really trashy and scummy character that your kids especially your wench of a daughter is leaving threatening messages.

Meanwhile you are doing everything in your power to weasel your way out of a debt you know you owe.

Your family is a joke, you are a joke.

We have the info we need.

Best of Luck!

My daughter had contacted them, pretty angry because he called me a [censored]. He proceeded to contact her and pulled up her social security # and all personal information... she has literally no attachment to this 'case' and this can only be construed as a threat.

I have contacted my attorney at this point because it makes me very nervous that they have access to social security numbers

+2

Wow- I'm sorry this happened to you... it just happened to my mom and I'm livid! I called and gave the woman ( Pam Jenkins) a piece of my mind! If you don't mind sharing, what is their website?

They called claiming to be a law firm, then proceeded to call all of my family members over a US Bank account they claimed I had abandoned. I have a great credit history with US Bank so all I can think is it was from 2005 when I was previously married. When I tried to ask what it was he wouldn't let me finish a sentence, called me a [censored] with no moral character. Claimed I had been sued and evicted, none of which is true. Absolutely awful people. Also stated they had mailed me the information numerous times... I've lived at the same address for 18 years. It does make me very uncomfortable that they have my social security # but I'm not sure what I can do about it since they don't seem to be a legitimate company. When I tried to call back after his attack, they won't answer the phone and it goes to voice mail time and time again.

Got a call yesterday morning from this creep saying I owed X amount of money on a US Bank account. I played nice and recieved a settlement offer thru email. Instead of paying them,I contacted US Bank, Social Security, all three credit bureaus and reported them. I also gave there info to the local police force. I blocked their numbers and emailed them back explaining what actions had been taken. Guess what? The big bad wolf didn't blow down my house. What a pathetic existence this company is. 🙄 take care and be careful. There be wolves out in those woods 😆
