Someone calls repeatedly to inform us that our business Paypal account is owed $800-something in adjustments to fees we've paid. They request we send them a copy of our Paypal statement. My guess is they are looking for the merchant account number on the statement. They says statement can be emailed to "[email protected]" or faxed to 206-424-8660. There is no website for the business name. A searched yielded scam info.

We received an unsolicited call or email claiming to be from a credit card processor, Shopify Merchant Services. They claimed we are owed a rebate, refund, or reimbursement for over-billed credit card processing fees. They asked me to email a copy of my most recent merchant processing or sales statement sent to [email protected] to have an auditor open a case number. Persistent that I needed to send it while on the phone so I could get a confirmation number.
