STANDARD DEVON REX KITTENS IS A SCAM! Stay away! I don’t think they even have any kittens — they are just pictures on their website, standarddevonrexkittens.com. The site should be taken down as I see they have already been reported. They take advantage of the fact that you are going soft over a little kitten and want to believe they are being up front. But they are robbing you blind. See my story above.

I ordered kitten BELLA from the website standarddevonrexkittens.com via email and communicated via telephone and text with “Mark W”. His cell # 470-310-3863. I asked many questions and spent several hours in direct communication regarding the kitten. In spite of a video he sent which did not look quite right to me — I asked them to send another and they said they didn’t have any, and when I look back on it I think it was an electronic simulation — I decided to go ahead. I asked to have a signed contract drawn up which was done. Finally I paid $840USD via PayPal to “Mario’s Mixail” whose email is [email protected]. The payment was converted to Euros and I asked why. “Mark” told me it was because the email was made in Spain while on holiday. I should have known this was starting to sound fishy. I made the payment via PayPal’s “friends and family” portal. What followed was another scam by “ProPet Shipping” which I will file separately. They wanted a $2000-$3000 fee for a special crate that was in compliance with “new COVID Regulations.” I texted “Mark“ about this and he reassured me that he had worked with this company before and I was in good hands and not to worry. After a great deal of back and forth with ProPet I texted Mark again and said if this was a scam I would report them to the police for Grand Larceny. When there was no answer I called him and the phone had been disconnected.
