Luckily, Bank of America blocked these two charges immediately, and have issued me a new replacement card.
The next morning (at 5:13am Eastern on 5/10/2018) I received an email from [email protected] stating the following:

Please make sure the below possible items are correctly before checkout.
1). credit card is valid.
2). entering credit card number correctly.
3). enough balance on your credit card.
4). shipping address matches billing address.
If all are correct, but still fail, then please try another card.
If still fail,we here suggest you choose other payment method
if you accept Western Union or Money Gram, you will be offered

So it looks like they are also trying to scam people with Western Union if a credit card payment does not go through.
