I received an email from this scammer as if it is from Booking.com, which I use on a regular basis, offering in exchange of participation in survey a cooler with Booking.com logo. Then they asked me to pay for a shipping $9.95, which I did through my credit card. Soon after I received a fraudulent charge for $56 from another vendor showing as INFINITIDESIGNCARTOGRAP.

After responding to something I thought was legitimate I got the attached email and was confused. I googled and found out it’s a scam that created a subscription. I’ve notified my bank.

Saw Instagram post for an All Star Game pack for $9.95. Obviously the price was too good for the merchandise. Once purchased, I was then informed it was a contest for a drawing for the fan pack. That was not what the advertisement stated. Then I was apparently enrolled in a monthly service app through a 5-day Trial of the Fit GNX App for $9.95. This was never disclosed, nor is this something I would have wanted to enroll in. I contacted customer service at Support [email protected] and they refused to refund the money saying I misunderstood their deceptive advertising scam. At no time did the ad indicate this was some scam to get people to sign up for an app or that I was going to be charged a monthly service fee for an app I never wanted in the first place. Suffice it to say, they have refused to refund the $9.95 initial charge.

Name, phone number and address. They pretend to be Lowe’s Home store and stated I could buy a gorilla cart for 9.95 if I took their survey. I took the survey and paid the 9.95 only to find out it entered me into a sweepstakes that is supposed to renew each month. I tried to end my subscription but am unable to reach the company by phone or email.
