In April, 2025, I was contacted by phone from a person identifying herself as Amanda Peacut, Literary Agent, Project Manager of a company called Equinox Lit Solutions. She told me that she heard about my book ** **** ***** ** **** ***** and that Simon & Schuster Publications wanted to publish it. My book was originally published in 2011 by Xlibris Corporation. Amanda told me that I would get $25,000 upon signing; $50,000 upon acceptance and $100,000 upon publication plus royalties. She told me to mail a check, on 5/19/25, for $3,612 to a person named Maria Elizabeth Manayaga @ 1888 Wendell Ave., Bullhead City, AZ 86442. The address is a residential location for a trailer park. Amanda had a man call me and he said he was Jonathan Karp, the Pres. & CEO of Simon and Schuster @ 315-537-8882. I called Simon and Schuster @ 212-698-7000 and I spoke with Nora Lambert @ 212-698-7698 and she told me that they never heard of Amanda Peacut or my book or of me. I told Amanda Peacut not to contact me again. Equinox Lit Solutions tried to swindle me of $3,612.00.
