The company is SiliconStaffing.co located in san jose on Kifer street. Posted on Craigslist, I responded, set up a 15 min phone interview with the recruiter. I had the interview did not pertain to the job itself just a general interview then they said congratulations we are going to proceed with you but before you do you have to do a background screening which I have to pay for, which requires me to plug in my SS#, date of birth, DL# and credit card info. I have worked for 15 years, I am a professional and have never ever been asked to do this. Background checks are the last step and are only done if offered a position. This sounds very sketchy to me. Not only will they not tell me the company name, they didn't do a proper interview for me to be selected. I did start typing in my info until I got to the credit card section and then my intuition kicked in. This is not right.
