Shopsmarter are the lowest [censored] of the earth. The owner David Friedman will not return my phone calls and every employee that works for them are greedy. They stole over $400 from a person with a broken neck. I believe that I need to put them out of business and have contacted bbb and my lawyer.

Somehow I signed up with shopsmarter without knowing and the last 4 years they have been draining my bank account $9.97 a month and i never used this. They never sent me an email saying my membership was paid. I did not notice this in my back account. When I noticed I asked for all that money back their full refund is 6 months. I'm disabled with a broken neck and these greedy [censored] of people have no respect for anyone. They are not hearing the fact I will destroy their reputation.

ShopSmarter.com uses a phishing scheme to lure customers in. They offered a $10 cash back bonus on my recent Bed Bath and Beyond purchase for a 7-day trial membership. Once the information requested to redeem the offer is provided (a receipt of purchase and code) the organization informed me via email that the claim will be processed in 3-6 weeks. I canceled the membership within the 7 day trial period and was then informed I would no longer receive the $10 cash back offer. In fact, the only way to really receive this offer is to continue with the membership for $9.97 a month. This needs to be advertised on the initial offer so people do not waste their time with it and pay an extra $1.97 for the 7-day trial as I did. This needs to be changed and consumers need to be protected/informed.
