I was contacted by Jeff Sanders who informed me that he had found my resume on one of the many job websites I had searched looking for a job. He stated that he would be my manager and would be guiding me through the process, coaching and providing assistance. He stated first on the phone that it would be a shipping/quality control position, pays $1500 a month with bonuses for every package I accepted, recorded pictures of, securely packaged and shipped with the company providing me with the shipping labels and there would be no out of pocket expenses. He informed me that the packages would be either in my name or someone else’s, but I would be informed of the name on the package prior to it reaching my mailing address. I was sent 7 pages of detailed instructions and guidelines. I was then told to log into what he called the Dashboard. I was to log on at least 3 times a day, Mon-Fri to check for messages, report the packs as soon as they arrive(latest within 3 hours from the delivery time and send out packages on the same day the outgoing shipping label was provided to me. I was told to take a pictures, both inside and outside of the box, make sure the product was securely packaged, and ship it out with the shipping label they provide me on the Dashboard. Once logged into the Dashboard I was able to track all packages, names, weight of package and what was inside each package. Over the course of almost 30 days, I received and shipped approximately 13 packages. I was given a probationary employment contract that was signed and dated for 5/3/19 but didn’t receive my first package until 5/28/19 which would make my first pay check 6/28/19. The last correspondence I received from Jeff Sanders was on 6/19/19 @ 12:40pm EST. On 6/18/19 He informed me that the Dashboard was down and under maintenance and wouldn’t be back online until 6/21/19. I would be contacted by the accounting department. Along with the 13 packages, I’ve received approximately a dozen letters in the mail, from PayPal mostly but also a couple different banks, with other people’s names. When I asked about the letters, he told me to keep them in a safe place and after the probationary period, Shipment Track would send me a priority envelope to put the letters in and send them to the company. I kept copies of all the shipping labels, Dashboard instructions, the employment contract and I currently still have all the letters that were mailed to me, they remain unopened. On 6/21/19 & 6/24/19 I was still not able to contact either Jeff or Erica. Starting on 6/24/19 all the phone numbers they provided me were all disconnected and they still (as of 6/27/19) have not responded to the almost dozen emails I sent. I have records of what I sent but unfortunately a lot of the correspondences took place on the Dashboard and once I wasn’t able to log into that any longer, those interactions were lost. The instruction manual for the Dashboard was very detailed and I did retain a copy of that as well. I’ve tried to also look at newspapers in the area to search for the company with no luck and it doesn’t seem to be the correct address either.
