Site posed as Lane Bryant with clothes from the actual website. Nothing seemed off about the transaction.

It showed up as LLBean store closing email. And I have ordered from LLBean before so I thought it was legit. I placed my order got the confirmation email and waited about 5 weeks the tracking said it was coming from china. Then the tracking number said it was delivered. When I went to chat with the tracking company they wanted 45.00 to tell me where the package was. That's when I went to the help center listed on the bottom of the order form. It was [email protected] and that's when I found out from others it was a scam. I did get the money back from my credit card company but it's totally horrible to see a scam being pulled on a reputable company like LLBean who has been in business since 1912.

L.L. Bean Imposter winter overstock sale. I was stupid and should have known better. They send out a tracking number that keeps you "informed" but the package never arrives even though the tracker shows it was delivered.

I found what I believed to be a great deal come across my "for you" page on TikTok for a huge sale on Judy Blue products. I purchased 3 items. At checkout I saw the shipping cost was $15.99. I thought to myself this is how they make up the difference with high shipping costs and didn't think much more about it because I was still getting a pretty good deal. It wasn't until a few days later when I was reviewing the order confirmation email that it looked a bit off, so I went down the rabbit hole and found I had fallen for a scam.

Order clothes from FB that I thought was a JC Penney ad. Have had correspondence that said it shipped but never received. Now they want $15.00 to reship. This was my fault. Know better but lesson learned. Have screenshots that I can Share.
