I received a call which the caller ID identified as coming from SCL Health, a hospital organization. My family does not routinely use any local SCL medical facilities. Concerned that a friend or family member was injured I answered the call. When I answered, the caller identified himself as being from Allstate Insurance. When I replied- "so you're not with SCL Health", he hung up. I tried to back trace the phone number but couldn't get any results. Obviously, Allstate insurance has gone to cloning phone numbers for reputable businesses, knowing that most people won't answer an unwanted call from an insurance company.
