went to epson website to get help with color problems with my printer et-2850. chicked that i wanted to talk to someone. they called me and talked me through the printer problem but then informed me that my computer was infected and that they could fix it. told me i needed a virus protection and would help me set it up. I am ususally very careful,but got suckered in on this one.. gave them my credit card info. checked the computer later and the virus peotection was not working, so I froze my credit card. The charge was already pending. I took my computer to Best Buy Geek Squad and they chek out my computer and confirmed that it was a scam. I immediately contacted credit card fraud alert. the company has since called be several times. I have blocked the number. a new credit card is on its way, but i will not unfreeze it.
