I went on their website to purchase kittens for my kids. After reaching out to the seller with interest, they advised I could pay with Zelle, Venmo, Chime or ApplePay. I’ve never bought a cat online before, so I wasn’t sure of the process and was excited for my kids since they were so happy. I sent a Zelle in the amount of $1400. They responded the next morning and advised that I needed to purchase a thermal crate to ship the kittens - which ranged from $1990-$5990 - that would later be refunded back to me. When I said I wasn’t going to pay that much for a crate, the person got annoyed with me and told me to get a cheaper option then. I said I wasn’t comfortable with that to which they responded that I was just planning on abandoning the cats then and don’t deserve to be an owner if I couldn’t even buy a crate for them. After researching the shipping company and the website, I figured out I was being scammed.
