I hired Roosevelt to help me with a modification. the first person that got in touch with me was Anthony Fiery and told me that there was a chance. I sent them all the documentation to give to the lawyers. He calls back with the good news that there was hope and talk to me about God. I was sent to check their reviews and videos from people they help. I was impressed. I hired them and paid 4 payments of 2000. A total of 8,000.00 dollars before the modification was finalized. I disclosed to them that I was divorced and that my ex-husband was deported in 2015. they say there was no problem. I got a very bad offer 4 days before the due date for a modification with a balloon loan at the end of 188,000.00. William Kumar, the lawyer that was working in my modification told me to accepted and I did 3 months trial. after that the final package came and the mortgage company needed my ex-husband's signature. William Kumar charged me another 1500 to take his name out because he advice it was needed. We had an apt. by phone with the mortgage company which he did not attend. I called my mortgage company and they told me Kumar knew the modification was denied still, he took 1500 dlls extra. This company is a bunch of scammers that lure people in need with promises to save their houses. They charge in advance reassuring people they can save their home. They asked people to do a positive video after they fill your head with promised, they make you feel like you owe them a good review because they are going the extra mile to help you.. this is how they get their 5 start reviews and lure other innocent people they. I know I will not see my money back and that I might loose my home. I only ask that God make them pay for what they are doing to innocent people in need. I attempted to utilize Roosevelt Law Center while in distress due to a disability and being unable to work at the time I fell behind on my mortgage and reached out to this company seeking a modification These crooks charged me twenty one hundred dollars and I never got my modification from them and stopped taking my calls until I contacted the BBB When I asked for my money to be refunded they sent me a bill and a check for 700 dollars which is Unacceptable Then Mr Goodwin lying self sends me emails to resolve this refund issue and I have not heard from him yet today is Oct 1 2021 I have been dealing with these unprofessional people since March 2021 with the exception of Mrs Nancy Evans she was wonderful and attempted to do her job The rest of this crew of crooks need to be put out of business Save yourself the drama check the blogs they are telling the truth and even If I never get my money back I hope this saves someone in a worst predicament than I was and you find a reputable company to do your modification with

Roosevelt Law center Took my money and did nothing. I fell for the sales pitch, the god talk and all the reviews. After seeing all the complaints its clear they have gone downhill and I am the victim. I am real. I hired them and then after everything I was denied and told to file bankruptcy. I was denied because of a previous modification, yet the sales rep god bless pitch said that didn't matter. Its just frustrating that I'm now far behind and wasted money. My chap 13 payment would have been less and affordable if they had never been hired. Now I cant afford it. I have to move and sell, put my kids in a new school, and losing my family home of 50 years due to being taken advantage of by Roosevelt Law Center and Homeowner Protection Alliance. Please don't make the same mistake.

I'm here to let everyone know that as of this writing, I'm working with Roosevelt Law Center and I'm in the last stages. I will let everyone know if they are for real or not. If they can save my house, then they can save yours. I had been in a accident in 2015 and stopped paying on my house then. Had to file bankruptcy and could not pay it out. I'm behind by about $32,000.00. and Bank of America will not return my calls, I have a sale date for 4/20/22, but Lisa has told me not to worry.

The Real Question Bruce I have for you and this question comes directly form the CA Attorney Generals office which I called after reading your post. ROOSEVELT Law center and Homeowner Protection alliance ARE NOT Registered with the CA Attorney general to do loan modification. Also explain for everyone HOW you are getting around this requirement by charging upfront and not after the loan modification is accepted? Can we dive deeper into how Thomas Moore and Benjamin handle the revenue that comes in from these upfront loan modification charges? There is clearly fee splitting which is illegal per the state bar. go ahead and explain that? How can you help people legally out of state when your attorney is not licensed in those states?Furthermore the complaints here are real looking to me? And I am a real client who lost Money but your calling me fake? From India? You guys are all a sham. Roosevelt Law Center and Homeowner Protection Alliance are a 100% scam that takes advantage of people when they need help. They take money for loan modification and do nothing. They told me all the complaints were fake and to trust them. They prayed with me on the phone and told me nothing happens in gods world by mistake. Well then after taking my 5000 they did nothing. Worst of all my mortgage company said they never got 1 call form them. Worst thing ever that could have happened. NEVER HIRE THEM. SAVE YOUR MONEY. DONT TRUST THE LIES AND FAKE REVIEWS LIKE I DID.

I found this on another site and also confirmed this lawsuit can be accessed on the BBB. I spoke to this company and yes they are real but I will not take my chances after seeing this enforcement action against Roosevelt Law Center and homeowner protection alliance. I also did not appreciate the lack of transparency from the sales department.

1. Roosevelt Law Group, P.C. (“Roosevelt”) is a California professional corporation having a principal place of business located at 3186 Vista Way, Suite 300, Oceanside CA 92056.
2. Miracles for Homeowners Marketing, Inc. (“Miracles”) is a California corporation having a principal place of business located at 360 East 1st Street, Suite 972, Tustin, CA 92780.
3. Thomas A. Moore, Esq. (“Moore”) is a California resident whose address is 600 Marazon Lane, Vista, CA 92081. Moore is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
4. Benjamin Borazghi (“Borazghi”), a/k/a/ Benjamin Borazzi, is a California resident whose address is 28672 Mira Vista, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677.
5. At all times relevant hereto, Moore served as the principal and lead attorney of Roosevelt, and ratified, approved, consented to, or authorized all business decisions and actions of same.
6. At all times relevant hereto, Borazghi served as the principal and manager of Miracles, and ratified, approved, consented to, or authorized all business decisions and actions of same.
7. From no later than March 2014 through at least December 2015, Respondents and their affiliates engaged in unlawful acts and practices directed toward residents of the State of Delaware. Respondents, working in concert and using a variety of business names (including but not limited to “Homeowner Protection Alliance” and “Household Relief Alliance”), operated a foreclosure rescue scheme by which they misled Delaware consumers to believe that they would receive certain residential mortgage loan modification services in exchange for large upfront payments.
8. Respondents typically contacted Delaware consumers through direct mailers to their residences. These mailers contained unfounded and deceptive solicitations, including misleading statements about the potential for drastic reductions of the homeowners’ principal and interest rates, wrongful use of the term “Keep Your Home Delaware” to suggest affiliation with a bona fide government program, false claims about what the consumers’ new mortgage payments would be, and confusing citations to federal mortgage loan assistance programs.
9. Respondents targeted over 1,000 Delaware consumers by means of the direct mailers referenced above.
10. Respondents also solicited Delaware consumers through a variety of websites, including but not limited to Roosevelt’s website, www.rooseveltlawcenterpc.com.

If you read it closely, it is all sensationalism. they were accused of "marketing tactics". however nothing about the actual services they provided. The state of Delaware is very aggressive against any law firm or attorney or company that challenges mortgage companies or banks. The firm and it's owner respected the request of the state and do not do business in Delaware.

This company is a rip off scam. they took $4000 from me and promised they could modify my home in Utah that is a USDA loan. After 8 months and 4000 they said there was nothing they could do and to call my lender directly.
The problem is that Roosevelt Law Center is:
1- not licensed to practice law in Utah
2- My USDA loan cannot be modified and they lied and said it could be
3- USDA never heard form them yet they lied and gave me weekly updates that were fake
4- They refused to meet with me in person
5- They are not even registered with the CA attorney general to do loan modifications
6- They hide under several non profits per the BBB lawsuits when marketing to trick home owners.
7- The sales agent prayed with me over the phone, then took my money.

I will forever feel victim to the biggest con scam after hiring them and hope NO ONE makes the same mistake.

If you look at the disclaimer at the bottom of the homeowner protection alliance website it states they cannot help people in New Mexico and Delaware. This is because of the government actions against them. Homeowner protection alliance is just the marketing arm to get people to sign up for Roosevelt law center. They also offer ads on craigslist and pay people $20 with bitcoin to send fake video reviews. I used to work for them. They are all connected and doing this to take peoples money. They dont even do any work on any files they just take money and lie then say they cant help. all of the BBB reviews are fake and google reviews are fake the employees and sales reps do them all. Nothing is real except the government actions taken place. Roosevelt Law Center is an illegal law firm that charges people upfront for loan modifications. I called the state bar, CA attorney general and also the CFPB and they confirmed that you can only charge AFTER a loan modification has been accepted. The Problem is that the head attorney is running a small "under the radar" loan modification scam operation which we all need to expose. They charge upfront and dance around the law with all the excuses int he world. All of the reviews are fake and manufactured I emailed 20 of them and NEVER got a response. Bottom line is my mother paid them 3000 and is now login her home in Texas. The attorney is not licensed in TX and should have never accepted money from an old woman who lives in a mobile home. Worst off her lender doesn't even do loan modifications. Ignore the reviews and RUN for the hills this is a horrible company who will suck you dry and feed you to the wolves of foreclosure. All of the above companies are associated with this scam and you can view on the BBB yourself they just keep pushing and pushing and hiding under the Roosevelt name yet all the other companies have been charged with government actions.
