I ordered a vanity with a bench for my daughter. It looked like it was from Bed, bath and beyond. On my bank statement it says ROMORXYMUSD for $50. Item was never delivered and not getting anywhere with a response! Pretty sure it was a scam!

Ordered a small battery charger that said it was from Wayfair. My checking account was charged $56.97 to RAMORYYXMUSD 562-3516581 CO. Never received item I ordered so pretty sure I got scammed. Like to find these scammers and take action. But not sure how to go about doing this. I’m pissed🤬🤬🤬

When I was on Facebook Marketplace looking for adjustable dumbbells, I saw this website (wifqv.shop) that was branded “Wayfair” under the "Sponsored" section in FB Marketplace. Although I thought the website was questionable at first because the price was so good and the URL was wifqv.shop, after navigating around the website and looking for red flags and finding none, I figured I would give it a try. I used a gift card with only $70 on it to eventually purchase the dumbbells for $56.97. I kept the purchase in my Cart and received emails stating “are you ready to check out”? After I saw these emails, I figured it was a legit site.
Now, a few weeks ago, I was reprimanded by FB/Meta for using the word “hang” in a post. I would assume that if you can flag one word as questionable, one would think they would monitor their Marketplace with as much scrutiny if not more. But who am I to question the great FB/Meta suppression of free speech?
I’ve attached 2 items for your review…A copy of my Gift Card’s that I used remaining balance where you can see the “ROMORYXMSUSD” fictional company and the phone number that doesn’t work, and a confirmation email “Wayfair” sent me after my purchase. You can see it all looks pretty legit…I mean no spelling errors, a pretty impressive “website”, etc. No spelling errors in the follow-up email(s) either.
I would expect Facebook/Meta to conduct an investigation into this matter to get my money back and use some computer forensics to nab these scammers! As you can see from this site, I’m not the only one!

I saw an unknown transaction for $19.99 from ROMORYXMSUSD. I searched the name and saw 3 more transactions (11/29/2024; 12/4/2024; 12/26/2024; 1/21/2025) all for $19.99 equaling $79.96.

Saw a sale for Bath & Body works right after Christmas, looked to be legit and on the Bath and Body works site. Placed my order using a Christmas Gift, Visa Gift Card. immediately after the purchase I got no e-mail confirming my order which was unusual. Gave if a few days, when on the website to see if the money had come from my card, and it had reported to be Romoryxmsusd. I have filed a claim with the Visa Gift card, will see if that gets anywhere.

I thought I was getting a great deal on Bath and Body Works lotion and perfumes During Christmas. Turns out, I'm sure I was scammed. I got an email with my order, but a day or so later it showed it was tracking through China! After Almost a month, It said my order had been delivered to my house, but it never was. There was only a Chinese tracking number, something called 17 track. But no tracking number for the United States. They keep sending me emails saying wait be patient Your orders coming, or sometimes they'll say we'll send you a refund And they send the same emails over and over. Reading other people's posts they sound familiar just like mine. I still have no package and no refund, help these SOBS Get what's coming to them.

Ad showed up on marketplace; wfopf.shop. Supposed to be a Wayfair 48hr clear out. I Ordered a chair for $49.99. Got an email, looked legit. However my credit card showed something different; ROMORYXMSUSD. I’ll dispute the charge and changed all of my passwords on my accounts. I used a hidden email when I ordered. I should have known better. If it sounds too good to be true, then it is. I froze my credit card and will be getting a new one.

I clicked from Facebook to what I thought was Ariat Boots. (https://ariat-outletpromotion.shop/) I ordered boots and my card was charged by this group: Romoryxmsusd. Research shows me they are scammers. Be careful.

I thought this was an online account for Dicks Sporting Goods. I order 3 pairs of shoes and never heard anything from this company. It charged me $51.49 for the order off my debt card. I do not know who to contact about this matter, any help will be greatly appreciated.

I saw a “flash” sale for Dicks Sporting Goods from Facebook. Placed an order on credit card purchase 12/17/2024 statement states ROMORYXMSUSD 562-3516581. I never received a confirmation of the order and obviously did not get the order. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company! It is definitely a scam!

Website ad through FaceBook appeared to be legit - was charged for purchase AND received a confirmation email. I mean, I hope I get 13pair of Hoka's for $49.99, but probably not. They charged me $51.49 via ROMORYXMSUSD. All the links in the email work and return to the original site so you can buy more... They even have a "spin to win" discount wheel to enter your email in. Lots of scammer time and money went into this scam. Luckily, I'm poor, so they couldn't steal more $, but also, that's a lot of money for me. I guess I'll report it to my bank and get a new debit card. Kinda want to see if they send me the shoes, though...

Do not order anything from ads on Facebook! This fake company pretends to be Wayfair furniture scams people just trying to get a deal on something. They take your order and then they steal your $49.99 right away from whatever payment method you choose. Beware of these scam artists! They are [censored]. Be diligent and smart. Any ad with no phone numbers or contact information is a scam.

I ordered a Futon off an ad on Facebook for $45.99. This transaction took my money from my credit card. I never received any emails or any other receipt to this order which was done on 12/21/24. After researching the title used on my credit card I found it to be a scam. The name that was given to me was ROMORYXMSUSD. This raised concerns. Can this be investigated in any way. Thank you.
