I am writing to report a fraudulent scheme involving a fake website, roiequipments.com, which is impersonating my legitimate business that I had created, ROI Equipment, LLC, based in Alexandria, Minnesota.

This scam was brought to our attention by an individual who nearly wired money for a piece of equipment listed on the fraudulent site. Before completing the transaction, they did some research and found our legitimate business — which is how we became aware of the scam.

The scam website uses our business name to post fabricated equipment listings at below-market prices, with the intent of tricking victims into sending funds for items that do not exist. We have no affiliation with roiequipments.com and did not authorize this use of our information.
