I signed an agreement with this business in exchange for publicity and distribution of a product (music). Rock Avenue Records USA did almost no form of publicity or distribution of my product to the scale they said they would at the time of signing, which is fraud. When I decided to part ways, I sent a dissolution request and they cut off all contact with me. They are selling my product and using my likeness on their website without giving a full report of sales for over a year now. The contract was breached when Louis Espinosa made physical copies of my music without asking me first. He claims it was a “courtesy” and he does this for every artist, but now we realize it’s to sell the music on his website for as long as he possibly can. He thinks there are no consequences to his actions, unfortunately, and will do this as long as he can get away with it. This breach, along with others, were not rectified, which deems the contract over, and he still will not pull down the material from their website after being asked several times. They are asking other businesses like mine to pay $4000-$5000 for the same contract and not delivering on what they say they will do at the time of signing the contract. I have heard they have even changed contracts after a person signed their contract, which is fraud. They will not give other businesses their money back but will still use their likeness to sell the products that no longer belong to them. When I try to reach out they ignore or block me. There is no reason for this but greed from these people. My hopes are that they will stop doing this and maybe find a different “Avenue” to persue in the future for their extra income.
