Same story as others. Liberty Funding Group calls from all over the country. Hitting 9 does NOT remove from theor list. The Do Not Call registry is absolutely USELESS. Even reported directly to the FTC..... and NOTHING.

Thought the government was suppose to intervene..... guess not. Just another government let down.

This is just a courtesy call today regarding certified legal documents that I have in my office for you and I will be arriving at your home with them tomorrow between three and 5 p.m. If I cannot gain your signature from you there, then I do have to come to your place of employment and this is where I will need your supervisor or your manager to sign as witness. Now, if I fail to reach you at either of these locations, I am required to document this as refusal to sign on your behalf and your proceedings will also continue without you. Do you like any further information regarding this matter before I arrive? You can contact the filing company directly with your questions at 8335786482. And when call and refer to your case number, which is 16900. *****, if I do not receive a stop order, I will be out to see you tomorrow. Below is a copy and pasted msg from these scammers, I've gotten several of these calls with nearly the same scripted msg in the last several weeks, when I call the 833-578-6428 number,(from a phone that can't receive calls), they leave in the vm, they're very aggressive and demand $500 today if I want to stop their legal filings:

I was left the following voicemail on my cell phone-

“This is very important message. My name is ****** ******* with Hawkeye pre- legal investigation services. Your sensitive information regarding the case that has been filed against you have been sent to my departments attention for a review attached on the complaint, we have your full name address and social to be filed in your local counties municipal court. The matter is time sensitive and it does require immediate attention if you wish to speak with me about the matter you may contact me at 1- 8 8 8- 3 1 0- 6 7 1 2 at extension 1 0 1 7. You have been notified to govern yourself accordingly.…”

I returned the call to extension 1017 and a rude lady who spoke quickly so I was unable to get specific information but she did claim to have my full social security number, maiden name, my husbands name and a previous address I lived at almost 20 yrs ago and told me I was being sued for breach of contract through Chase bank which I’ve never had an account with them.

I have received 2 calls in 2 days from spoofed telephone numbers. Who knows where they are actually located. After the first call I answered and they announced who it was, I hung up. Today got another call and she answered saying she was returning my call as I requested and I never did that. I started yelling and telling her I did not tell her to call me and asked her never to call me again and I hung up. But you know they will call back. Next time I answer I will answer as a police dept. and see what they do.

When incoming call come from this number, i never answer and the caller never leave a message. I receive anywhere from four to five calls per week from 9177641248. Really annoying. I registered on the do not call list but obviously the do not call is useless.

I'm getting over twenty calls a day from 825-804-6399 (6860, 9558, 5068, 8778, 3286, 7861, 9138, 1183, and all the rest of the different last four digit numbers I've deleted. If I answer, there is a pause, then a peep, and the call is ended. When I tried to look up the numbers the only information I get is they were coming from Alberta Canada.

It started about a month ago and I don't try to walk to my mobile phone anymore. I don't carry it around. I just let it ring and figure if it was something important they would leave me a voicemail.

Any suggestions as to how I can stop these calls? It's such a hassle to change my phone number due to letting companies, medical and others know about the change.

I wanted to report scam calls that I keep receiving. I am on the Do Not Call Registry. They are robocalls. I don't answer the phone.. They call from different numbers. 205-660-7281, 205-708-4569,312-906-7154. The man does not give a company name. He states something about an angel watching over me. Also, something might happen to me. Wants me to call them back at 800-729-5169. I do not call back. It states if you want your name to be removed press 3. I did not press any numbers.
