I completed an interest form on line just stating that I would be interested in earning extra money. I was sent an priority envelope in the mail with a check and instructions on how to complete my secret shopper experience for WALMART. It was professionally addressed and the check looked completely legitimate. The money order assignment was the one that concerned me. The check included money for my time. I was told to text a number with further instructions as to where to send the money orders. I did not cash the check nor did I complete either of the two assignments.

I was sent a check for 2,382.00 dollars with instructions to confirm reciept of letter and check. Instruction were to deposit check in my bank. Take cash out. Buy iTunes cards 1.800.00 keep 410.00$ gas and transportation 55.00$ bonus 200.00$ if I complete survey in 48 hours. Not to tell any one and to go to Wal-Mart and be a secret shopper. NOT TO TELL ANY ONE.

I thought I was applying to be a mystery shopper but then I get this in the mail with a check for $1794 with all these instructions. Everything sounds fishy and I believe it's a scam so I did not deposit the check.

Received an email about doing a mystery shop. No business name. Received a check for $2387 from Deer Valley Credit Union in Phoenix, AZ. Wanted me to take out about $400 for myself, $55 for costs of gas and transportation, and cost of cashiers checks to send. Wanted me to go to Walmart and purchase whatever I wanted to keep for up to $25 and do an evaluation. $913 in money grams on the same day and $911 on another day. There were 2 different names that I was supposed to send them to.
