An individual called claiming our business phone line was no longer going to work because we needed to be on another network, that he was calling on behalf of our business phone provider Century Link. He had several details about my company, owner name, location, etc. I was suspicious since I had a Century Link Tech at my business a day before and he didn't mention any necessary switch to another technology. I told the individual that I would need to check with my provider to confirm this was necessary and not a scam, and that I thought this call was "fishy" since I had not received any documentation mailed via Century Link informing myself of this change. I called my provider and they let me know it was indeed a scam. They have since put the doc. they wanted me to sign as "in progress" and no longer available to open.
