A person (stating his name as Peter Brown) approached me to repave the driveway. Came back several times to measure and mark the driveway and provided written cost estimates, schedule, etc. Wanted a deposit (and would not accept credit card payments). Then pressured me to pay because he "needed to buy the pavers from a store nearby that only accepts cash". Upon request, he provided a "website" that included testimonials (all undated and seemed suspiciously similar). No links to Yelp or any other web presence. Most importatntly, he just stated thay had all the licenses but did not want to produce any evidence. He does have my address and telephone number. And now the numbers do not work!

A person came to my door and offered driveway paving services. I spoke with him and he said they are doing several other driveways in the area. I asked where and he avoided answering my question. He quickly reduced the price (flag one). He said I only had a few days to contact him with the price offered. He gave me an information card which the website doesn't work and I cannot find any information on the internet about this company. His truck did not have a company logo on it.
