A Ridley Cooper from Waters Edge Apartment sent me an email on July 27th about a work from home customer service job and he sent me a check so I could deposit it in my account but I’ve been through this before so I didn’t do it. I reported it to the US Postal inspection services. I knew it was a scam the moment I was hired without an interview and nobody ever called me! It comes from this phone number too 858-371-8951

Received an email from hr@elderlawcentreofbrevard asking for me to text Ridley Cooper to move forward with the interview process. Then received a link asking for pictures of the front and back of my driver's license and SSN.

Same thing happen to me asked me for my SSN said he is the manager for water edges apartments and that I have been selected for the work from home position. I checked with zip recruiter and I did apply there. Asked me to fill out ID.me. After founding out in this site I had called the IRS and every government agency.

The “hr manager” will send you an online form that asks you for your SSN and your login and password to your ID.me account. Employers using ID.me will never simply ask for this information. This form also asks if you’ve submitted your taxes for the year yet. On top of this, a personal email gives them away.
