I ordered a massager from therapexa as a Christmas gift. When it was finally delivered it was not as advertised. What was nearly $200 did not work well at all. They advertise a return policy and how to start the process. They do not respond to any emails and do not provide a phone number. Their address changed from Texas to California. They continue to advertise on social media. I at least received some sort of product. Some people never received a product.

Hello,
Today I attempted to return some items to Primalderm after a 30-day trial using both UPS and USPS. I was told by the customer service rep that I needed to return the items to China as it was shipped from there. To my disappointment, I discovered that the cost of returning the items to China would be $590 through UPS, and $250 using USPS. I didn't understand why I had to ship it to China if they have warehouse in the US?
I am led to believe that Primalderm is a scam. As a customer in the US, I was unaware that the items were being shipped from China directly to me. Primalderm led me to believe that it had a legitimate business in the US, with a warehouse located here, but in reality, the company is based in China.
Primalderm is fully aware that once a customer receives the item and is not satisfied, it is difficult and expensive to return it because of the high shipping costs. This is deceptive and unfair to customers who are led to believe that they can return items easily.
This practice is not good customer service, and now I'm stuck with items that are poor quality. For this reason, I am reporting it to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to prevent others from falling prey to Primalderm's deceitful practices.
Best,
Jena
