I purchased two t-shirts from a t-shirt shop on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. The guy told me he would give me a special: 2 for $25 when I said no to 1 for $25. I just saw my credit card, and I was charged almost $90. I still have the original bag with the t-shirts still folded, and they did not provide a receipt. I went to the internet, and it looks like others have been promised one price and then charged significantly more without their knowledge (sometimes up to $300!). This shop is predatory and takes advantage of individuals shopping on Fremont. Avoid! I have disputed the charge on my card, but I cannot do anything without a receipt.

I was tricked into buying a car that needed a whole new transmission. This man did not inform me that the car needed a whole new transmission. Once I brought the car and drove.. 2 days later the car was jerking. I then took it to multiple shops and all told me it needed a new transmission. I asked him to at least refund me half or provide me with another car and he blocked me on everything.

On December 13, 2024, I purchased items from Family Dollar. After inserting my debit card, the system appeared to be stuck so the cashier went to the other side of the counter and pressed a button. He mentioned that the system was stuck and instructed me to insert my card again. Days later I noticed I'd been charged for the same transaction twice. After contacting the store, I was asked to call back the next day to reach the manager who'd be there. After calling the manager, she asked for my receipt info to locate the transaction. I was advised to call my bank and ask why the correction had not been made. The manager also stated that this error should have already been corrected by Family Dollar. She also mentioned that it usually does not take this long for the reversal. She went into how she'd reach out to her manager/supervisor. I spoke to the assistant manager yesterday (Jan. 6 2025) who asked me for the receipt info & said the manager was in the middle of unloading freight and would contact me after speaking with the supervisor to figure things out. The assistant mgr assured me that this would be taken care of but I've not received a call or refund.

Went to the Fashion outlets of Chicago and was stopped by Max who gave us a face cream packet then he tried an eye cream on us and lied about the price. Our card was charged $440. Then he walked us to their “spa” for a free facial. Where Amy was who was only in town for the day and tried to scam us more. So many lies. Amy said she was one of 4 owners then had to ask the manager for approval. The light for the skin treatment went from $12,000 to $6,000 to $500. Max says the store is celebrating 1 year so they have deals. Amy says it’s grand opening. She offered us 8 months of free skincare with the purchase and no guarantees. We said no. Then she throws around NASAs name saying they just got a shipment from NASA. Then she brings us damaged box for half off we said no. She said they’re opening a store in Columbus (where we are from) but wouldn’t tell me the location. They kept us trapped in the store putting more and more cream on our face until we finally just walked out a mess. When we got home the eye product didn’t work the same at all.
