I applied for a job position titled "entry level management" via a company named Resolute Service through Indeed.com. I was contacted by Resolute Service on July 5th, by whom, during the 2nd interview on July 10th (which was in-person at an office in Southlake) I was informed that there would be a series of rapid pay increases if I were to work at their company for 6 months. Moreover, the interviewer showed me a "four step growth plan," which detailed a promotional journey employees theoretically undergo within 6 months, going from entry level (at a job that required zero applicable experience) to branch manager. The interviewer also told me that within a year, I would "be making millions of dollars." The interviewer mentioned zero benefits, and was vague about what exactly the job entails - the massive pay bump kept being the focal point of the interview (aside from questions being asked of me). It is also worth noting that I applied for a job with a company known as Resolute Service, as previously stated, and not for a job with a company known as Alphalete Marketing. Alphalete Marketing was never mentioned, during either the first or second interview, or within any of the e-mails, but an Alphalete Marketing office in Irving is where I was told to report for training and where I was told I would be working following the job offer being extended to me on July 10th. I have since backed out of the job offer upon realizing this whole thing reeks of a pyramid scheme or MLM.
