Business represented themselves as Marriott Reservations. We made reservations for the Courtyard Marriott in Denver/Golden Colorado. When checking out we were charged for the entire stay for $661.91. We have filed a fraud claim with our bank. This presented a financial hardship for us on a fixed income.

This is a bait and switch website. They pretend to be the legitimate hotel website, but they are not. Customer does not discover that until hotel room is booked and suddenly a "non-refundable, non-amendable" notice appears. Their "customer service" is in some foreign country where they are trained to say "your reservation is non-refundable and you cannot change it". Moreover, the site claims to be discounted, but rather, they are MORE expensive than the actual hotel site (at least in my case) because they add on hidden fees that are not disclosed until you press "book now." Trying to reach them through their supposed "support" email results in the same "sorry your reservation is non-refundable and non-amendable" line. NO legitimate hotel site does not allow for changes and IF they offer a great price and it is non-refundable, it is highlighted and visible prior to booking. This site hides that information until you have booked the room. Total scam and sham.

I was booking Hotel Ink McGallery in Amsterdam and this site ghosts as the hoyel site. I was asked to put my AMEX card as a hold and they charged me USD 1800 upfront. When I tried to access my reservation the site does not recognize my confirmation number and their phones and bots never answer. AMEX didn’t respond either

Reservationstays.com "ghosts" the website of the Riverside Hotel of Ft. Lauderdale.

When a person tries to schedule, they are covertly transferred from the hotel's own website to the fraudulent website of "reservationstays.com" which has authentic looking webpages,

AND

issues FAKE CONFIRMATIONS of hotel reservations,

AFTER COLLECTING CREDIT CARD INFO WITH CARDHOLDER NAMES.

Hotel reservtion sent to "confirm" was NON-EXISTENT in the hotel's own records !!

The charged money ($612.95) for the hotel reservation was thus stolen, as the subject hotel (Riverside Hotel, Ft. Lauderdale, FL) stated that there was no record of a reservation, nor any charges.

A Small Claims court case is pending.
