My wife called the Reservation Desk , which was branded Reservation Desk Sonnenalp. Clearly my wife thought this was part of the hotel.

It was a 3rd party reservation center. While we were only charged for the cancellation fee, the Reservation Center has our credit card number.

I have called my Visa card provider and asked them to deny any future charges from the Reservation Desk.

Feels like a scam artist to me
