Type of a scam Online Purchase

I was wishing to order two reptiles from their website. After a couple of e-mail exchanges, I concluded I was dealing with a legitimate outfit so I placed an order. They requested pre-payment (including shipping) for my order, but did not have any credit card acceptance. Instead, they requested that I try an on-line payment method (PayPal, Venmo, etc.) but the sites never would accept payments directed to the address information they provided. I several times (via chat) requested a physical address for their operation, but they would ignore the request (Which in itself should be an alert). They said they would go ahead and ship the animals without receiving payment, and I received a shipping notice (with a tracking number) from an outfit called Aramex Global Logistics. The information on that outfit's website (and tracking) looked legitimate, so I continued my efforts to get a payment to Reptile Heaven. At one point I was requested to try to get a Walmart gift card to give them, which should have been another warning sign for me. I got to the point where again I was asking them for their physical address so I could just mail them a check. When they replied that they did not accept checks, I just asked if I could send them a money order. Fortunately, all of my efforts to send them money on-line were rejected by the various money transfer organizations, so I was actually out no money and came to the conclusion that this whole operation was a scam.
