This property owner was supposed to have returned my deposit as My travel contract was canceled. She used my money to pay For her own bills and when I asked for it back she would not respond to me. I want her property to be taken down so that other travelers do not have to deal with this. She is shady on all accounts and should not be trusted.

I am a Realtor and have a client who found a rental advertised on Craigslist. The scammer told her to go look in windows and mail deposit then would mail keys. He claimed to be the owner named Earnest. I looked into it further for her and happen to know the real Earnest who is in a nursing home and know the family. So obviously we knew then it was a scam. I have informed the family. The scammer was called and foreign and claimed to be earnest when I told him he was not and to remove the listing.he became mean and threatening and name calling. I also emailed the scammer after he did not remove and we reported to the police.

After viewing rental property at *** * *** ** Antioch ca 94509 and filling out application I send over deposit and first months rent $2600 thru a chase account he said it was his money handlers account , feeling not too sure about this rental property had a Friend also reach out to him about being interested he also send her the same information he gave me and ask for double the amount of money ! He says he works out of town as engineer his account holders name is Anderson Lawson and Carrillo Adam Luis is the one in charge of the fake rental property

Contacted Eva through craigslist about a temporary rental in Fairbanks, AK. Was asked to provide a security deposit to hold the home for us, so I did. I was then asked to pay for the 2nd month a day or so later and said no, but then was asked later on if I could provide a $100 gift card so that they could fix their Netflix account. I responded no that I wasn't comfortable with that, and I asked for a refund of our deposit. I continued to ask for the refund of our total deposit ($1800) and there was no response until about 6-8 hours later with a text message that said "send me your bank details", with which I replied to send it to my paypal account. I am now taking legal action to get my funds returned to me.
