this car rental company was part of a bundle package thru Priceline (flight, hotel, car rental). When I arrived at the off sight rental office, I was in line behind several people whose transactions were seemingly taking a long time to complete, and one of them told the "clerk" to cancel her reservation. Then it was my turn, and it wasn't long before I realized the problem. The "clerks" (there were two of them) were requiring everyone's insurance declaration page to see if they carry $300,000 coverage. And if not, we had to pay $30/day for their insurance coverage. As you can imagine, I was in in a bind, as was everyone else, and so I paid the ransom. They did this to every single person who came in to get their "already paid for" vehicle. I was staying for three days so it cost me an extra $90. Imagine the money they take in after scamming so many people, many who were staying longer than three days. I called Priceline and they didn't seem to be concerned that they were using this scamming company. I want my $90 back, and I think something should be done about allowing this company to do business.
