"I am the owner of the apartment, and my daughter was living in the apartment. Unfortunately, she got divorced last year and decided to move with her children to Spain where I have been living for the last 15 year. I met my wife on a holiday on the Mediterranean Coast, and I decided to follow my dream and heart so I moved from Canada to be with her. My family and I decided that we can rent the apartment to you so we need to make the arrangements for the viewing. I want to use JLL as as a responsible third party authorized to arrange the viewing and paperwork.
LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED so we can discuss it over the phone before I will make the arrangements with the property management company.
If you need to reach me you can call me at: +34 600 538 092 (if you are calling from Canada you need to dial 011 34 600 538 092) or you can leave me the best number I can reach you and I will give you a call.
Thank you and have a wonderful day!"
Then, asked for deposit and said he would mail the keys and lease agreement for me to sign. If I didn't like the apartment, I could back out and get a refund. Hmmmm.... Then I got an email from JLL with a photo of a passport with the prospective LLs name, some incorporation docs and a typed up agreement that didn't state anything useful...No lease agreement to sign. Immediately came on here and found this post:

Different phone number, but the same lies!
In a separate email, JLL asked:
"Please send us a notification if you accept the terms and conditions and we also need a valid identification (Government Issued Identification, Driver's Licence, Valid Passport or Permanent Resident Card) so we can provide you with the Banking Information where you need to make the payment. "
I kept digging and also found this on ScamPulse.com's site.
