Found ad on Craigslist about listings for rent to own home ownership. Called 800 number listed in ad with ~ between numbers to avoid robo calls, spoke with the gentlemen over the phone who never gave his name, spoke about the program and stated because it was for low income/low credit individuals that there was a service needed to be approved by a third party law firm to confirm I was working towards improving my credit. Was transferred to Lexington Law Firm and signed up with their service to get started, once approved there attempted to call the 800 number back but phone would never ring through. Ended up emailing the company again through the Craigslist ad with my number, received a call back the next day with the next steps, gave email, received email of housing listings and instructions. Responded back to email with houses I would like to see to arrange a meet with landlord. Was then emailed the lease information with instructions to print and bring 3 copies with me when we go to look at the homes, and the name Mr. ******* ****** as the potential landlord who would be contacting me to look at the homes. I waited a week and received no phone calls, so I emailed back stating I had received no contact. I was told they would reach back out to Mr. ****** and have him contact me shortly, or another landlord to show me the houses. Waited another week, no reply. Attempted to email back, only for the emails to never be sent and keep bouncing. Tried calling the 800 number in the ad, now I always get a busy signal from my phone. I tried my wife's phone who's number was never put on the application or made a call, and the call went right through. When I identified who I was and explained I was calling to figure out what was going on, I was asked "What is the name of our company?" When I said Rent to Own Club which was in the emails and lease, I was hung up on.

They said it’s was a second chance program to own your own home your supposed to sign up with LexingtonLaw then let them know and you will be able to view houses and pick one you want it’s all a lie to steal your money and information please don’t do it
