I was emailed that I needed to complete my business registration to comply with FCEN BOI requirements. I provided all identifying information of my business, the owners, and pictures of passport and driver's license.

I received a suspicious email indicating I needed to fill out a FinCEN BOI Registration. The email has some information which seems legitimate. It has some .gov links as well as an email from a non gov entity. I did not click on the File My Report button nor use any of the links in the email to verify if they would lead to a non-gov site. From the other reports here I am suspicious of the need to fill our a BOI let alone wanting to use anything related to the email to do so.
