Redfin- Potential Scam

We received a call from an individual identifying himself as Daniel Mora, a property manager for Redfin. He sent us a proposal for painting services for apartments within a 25-mile radius of our location. The proposal required a $5,000 performance bond.

However, his email ([email protected]) did not include his title, location, or phone number, which raised concerns. Upon further research, we discovered multiple scam reports associated with this email, all involving the same proposal we received.

We believe this may be a scam and wanted to report it for further investigation. Emails used: [email protected] and [email protected].

this person contacted me via message saying that redfin real state company was interested in hiring my company for cleaning services and asked me if i was interested all i had to do was send them all my business documents so they can send me a formal proposal along with the 24 month contract agreement so i can sign it. but the most important requirement was to have a business general liability insurance active and paid for 2 years but here interesting part, they told me that that it couldn't be an insurance company where I could be making monthly payments or anual payments or not even renewal. so basically i only had the option of paying insurance through them as they were nice by offering me a 50%off if i get insurance through them. that way they can activate the contract so i can start working as soon as tomorrow.

I was just contacted by [email protected] offering a high-paying house cleaning job. They asked for proof of insurance and other documents. I’ve decided to avoid this scam. Be cautious about who you share your personal information with!

They called me with the offer of giving me interior residential homes to paint for 2years, all I needed to pay was a 2000$ plus 700$ for a 2year insurance. The 2000$ were supposed to be for any damages that could have been cause by us while we were working on their properties and would be deducted from the 2000$, the 2000$ would be refundable after the 2years if no damages were done. They sent me a contract through email that specified specify all of the above among other things related to work. They stopped answering my phone calls for weeks and once I got a hold of them they said that one of their employees made mistakes on my contract and insurance policy etc. so they needed another 500$ to proceed and that if I wanted to cancel the contract it would be around 470$ or so.
