i was applying for jobs and David Price and jay Patel approached me through email. at first they seemed legit but the phone conversation seemed a bit awkward. I didn';t think much at the time until now. then i said he will offer me a job and to send my driver;'s license and a copy of my electrical bill to do a criminal check. i proceeded and within less than 24 hours he said i was cleared. that is when i struck me, that is too quit for a background check. he send me an offer letter and direct deposit form and w-4. it all seemed legit, but the offer letter had misspellings and then that gut feeling told me that was not right. i strted to look into the company further and couldn't find them as a legal business. I couldn't find them on Glassdoor or Indeed or LinkedIn. I even asked David, I like to connect with you on LinkedIn and the company too. He never got back with me and that was two days ago. they said they have been in business since 2021. Even in a short period of time something would have to had come up. But nothing! I still have the emails if that helps. What ****** me off, is i am trying to find employment and they are low enough to trick me and then take my money. People **** who do these kind of things.
