I was needing to change my address since I’m moving and went on Google and clicked the first link that popped up it was sponsored so it went to the top. Then I put in my old addresses new address and when I’m moving.

SCAM! Charged me $59.00 for address change! That is CRAZY! BEWARE! First thing that came up when I googled United States Postal Service/ Address change. Asked for credit card information, leads you to believe you are paying the $1.00 fee listed on site and then charged me $59.00! This is is sick scam!

I google the US Postal Service and the first thing come up is this site which is deceptive by using the same request of address change as the federal government requesting verification of your identity by using a debit card, visa, master card or credit card and only after this information is submitted you see a charge has been made to your card in my case it was $39.95 and you do do receive a email of confirmation as stated. I did make several attempt to reach out to them including using all of their contact methods, I email their support team, Live Chat and called the telephone number and got no response from this company leaving me to believe they are a fraud and scammer is acting as thorough they are the legitimate United States Postal Service website and need to be reported to the Federal Trade Commission, Better Business and Attorney General which I will be doing.

Ditto! I was charged $59.00!

Site comes up from google search and looks just like USPS site to change your address. It says you will be billed a few dollars and once you click it says you've been billed 39.95. Not a real site, call your bank and dispute the charge if this happens.

This company is the worst. They submitted a change of address request with USPS for me on Sept 26th. It was an outdated address so I contacted them Dec 12 asking them to CANCEL the request because I never received the confirmation number needed to cancel directly with USPS. They botched it up SO MUCh that they actually requested a SECOND change of address request, again to the wrong address.

This was all through email and I had a DIFFERENT person contact me each time.

They are seriously so dense. They couldn’t even find my initial request.

I’m going to have to try to sort this out with USPS without having the confirmation codes.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I initially signed up with them on accident. I thought it was USPS. This is one of the worst purchasing mistakes I’ve ever made.

I have been trying to call these people to let them know I wanna cancel .they got the wrong address for me anyways . They refunded my money back Saturday the 10th of July ,and then they took it out again on July 13 . I told them I didn't want it .they won't answer the phone and I can't get a hold of them

Rapid Address Change is legit. Being an old man in my 70s, I am not very tech-friendly. I paid a $39.95 one-time fee for unlimited address changes which is just great considering I have to move every 3 months, sometimes to my daughters' place, sometimes to my sons' place. The lady on the phone was very helpful and even though I made a mistake while submitting the change, she helped me rectify it and correct it. Excellent service, prompt response, and a live chat to talk all your problems out. Rapid Address Change is a great service for anyone not willing to pay extra bucks for a premium concierge. Thank you Rapid Address Team!

So, an old man in his 70's who is not tech savvy who had great service decided to look up scams about the site he just used and then was able to figure out how to write a review using the word "legit"? Sure. And then someone decided this was useful? 5 times? Is scampulse.com a scam?

Like a similar post, Rapid Address Change showed up as the first search for Us Postal Service address change. I did not realize until after paying my $39.95, that it was not through the US Postal Service. And then in the fine print of the confirmation it said they do not issue refunds. I will attempt to get a refund directly, but if unsuccessful, will make sure my bank will not pay.

Rapid address change is not a scam, they are definitely legit. I got my whole family's address changed, we are 10 people in the house. It went smoothly. No complaints at all. Took like 15 days but I got exactly what Intended to pay for. I was charged $39.95.

Fraudulent usps website change of address form

I googled "change address" and it was the first link to pop up which said USPost Online Postal Change and looked like a legit USPS website to change your address. I filled the information out, it did not tell me how much it was going to charge for the change so once I was finished I checked my bank account (I gave debit card as payment) it shows up as MAILMOVINGINCCOM with a pending charge of $79.95. I have changed our address several times over the past two years and I know that charge was not right so I immediately knew I got scammed. My husband also has already gotten a phone call about updating home security system and a text with a few links from some agent named Kathy. I tried to chat with the company as it says on the site Live Chat with agents and no one responded to me when I asked for a refund as that is an extreme overcharge. I do not know if they actually changed my address either and they have not gotten back to me.

Not a bad experience got my refund instantly, the lady on the phone was helpful

Not a scam, there are a lot of other companies out there like this one but most of them are bad. This one however seems to be the only legit company that cares about the customers and helps them.

R. Sanchez who manages this website and company was very polite, refunded my money and changed my address for free.

Thanks,

Definitely not a scam I used rapid address change. And the women I spoke with was very professional and helpful. Email me always with updates and every time I would call customer service they would answer and help. They are legit!

Great people, helped me change my address, I was unable to file it with the USPS as I have like 13 people in my family, costed me pretty much the same with no extra efforts to fill the same form again and again.

Martin Redwood was the representative assigned to my request, I'm an old man with not much info about tech but this company helped big time!

When you google for address change USPS, you get a bunch of companies like USPS and one of them is https://www.statespostalforward.com/and it converts into http://rapidaddresschange.com/ This company has the same form as USPS and then asks for credit card to charge a fee without stating the amount. Next thing you know you have been charged $29.95. As soon as I noticed (minutes after)that I have been chaged that amount, I called the number on the website and i got a message that the number has been disconnected so I sent a message saying that I wanted to cancel the service. They got back to me 2 days later with the following message:

I called the credit card company and they couldn’t proceed right away as the amount was showing as pending and until it is not posted they can’t do anything.

I went to their website and read the disclaimer:

Disclaimer: This site and service is not affiliated with any government agency. The cost for this service includes processing for address changes for a single name or business as well as any processing fees for submitting an online change of address request. The fee also covers inclusion in optional do-not-call list subscriptions, plus discounted services such as moving, television, broadband, and telephony services. As an alternative, users may also go to the postal authority website or local postal office to have mail forwarded for free or little cost (the postal agency will not notify any other organizations for you, however). The site is a private business entity that facilitates and acts as an agent for the address change request process for its users and acts as an authorized agent for users wishing to file their address change request with the postal authorities. Please note that this service acts only as a facilitator and agent for your address change. However, the service will attempt to make every reasonable effort to notify the postal authorities of your address change and must rely on the customer's accuracy in providing correct address change information in order to process the change of address properly. Further, this does not guarantee that the postal authorities will properly process your address change, nor is our service liable in any way for such notification(s) and mail forwarding to be performed by the notified organization. This service submits and maintains your information for postal address change. Because address change submissions are final and irreversible, we do not offer refunds once your address change has been submitted. If there was a mistake in your original submission, we offer free resubmission of your address change as a one time courtesy. Please contact [email protected] to request this courtesy. Users submitting their change of address request may also be presented offers for discounted products and services related to the moving process. For this service we charge a $29.95 one-time fee. The accuracy of the information is the responsibility of the user.

That’s the only place where you see the fee and what they offer.

I would appreciate if this company goes under investigation, it only shows on adds and couldn’t find anything about it
