We hired ******* ****** to inspect a wood stove because he claimed to be WETT certified. He insisted he was WETT certified. Once he submitted the letter post fireplace inspection, no licence or certificate number was shared - and that was insufficient for our insurance. I was suspicious of his claimed certification - so, I found wettinc.ca online - where all WETT certified inspectors are listed. He is not certified. I called the association to confirm.

******* is marketing himself and his business as providing WETT wood stove inspections on social media (facebook: Wakefield folks group).

I am upset that I paid $500 and wasted my time on his 'inspection'.
