Add on Facebook for foldable rocker/ outdoor chairs. Buy two get two. Looked like a QVC add. It’s fake! I never received anything! It’s not QVC!

- Wayne, NE, USA

Scammer set up fake account tracking number and tracking step by step information. When I contacted them that my item was not delivered as the tracking information showed they sent me an email saying I should follow up with my post office. Item purchased was a "special" on a wheelchair. A wheelchair would not be delivered by the United States Postal Service.

I saw this great ad on Facebook on luggage; just what I was looking for. And since I had shopped at QVC in the past, I thought it to be a safe ad. So immediately I clicked on to make my purchase. I was emailed my confirmation and tracking number stating I should receive my order within a week. After a week I tracked my order which showed the route originating from China. I tracked several times and everything seemed to be in order. However after 4 weeks I became suspicious with the time it was taking so I used the email from my receipt to inquire (no phone number), and I got a response email back immediately apologizing for the delay. I appreciated the quick response and thought everything was legit.

After nearly 6 weeks, I tracked again and this time it showed my package was delivered successfully. I panicked and immediately emailed the company again. I got a response swiftly again with verbatim words as the first email! I did this several times, and I got the same exact email response. That’s when I felt this was a scam and I contacted my bank to file a claim. My bank has reversed the charges while they investigate. I looked up their website used in the ad I purchased from but it is now unfounded. That ad is still running on Facebook but I noticed with different websites! I saw others in the comments saying it was a scam. I hope my filing this claim helps others.

This started with one of the pop up ads on FaceBook. The ad represented itself as being a clearance sale at QVC for electric mobility scooters. I checked the location of the company and it came up as being from Canada, so I thought it was legit. I got a confirmation email, and according to it, the company is in SHENZHEN, China and the name of the website/company is akerghly.com I couldn't find any way to cancel the transaction, but I thought there might be a small chance they were legit, and they did keep me updated on tracking the shipment. It was May 15 2024 when I placed the order, and according to the tracking number of the shipment, it was allegedly delivered to my house June 3 2024. It was never delivered here, and as I have cameras outside all around the house, I can prove it! I started emailing them to complain about it, as they don't have a phone number listed. They did answer all my emails, but it was just stalling tactics and lame excuses. They claim the items were delivered so if I didn't receive them, they must've been stolen. They offered me a 30% refund. I said I want a full refund, they countered with 40% and we finally agreed on 50%. They assured me the money would be back in my account within a few days. I still haven't gotten it. I emailed them again about it, and they answered with more stalling as follows: "We are sorry that you have waited so long but have not received the refund, we will verify the situation with the bank and will give you feedback as soon as possible, please wait…" I have tried checking their web site but it is no longer functioning. I know it's my own fault for being stupid, but you never know.

Advertisment thru instagram for buy 2 rocker folding lawnchairs get 2 free..made to look like items from QVC but instrad from China...i received email of confirmation and items delivered..items never received as of todays date 6/10/2024 (ordered in feb 2024)

I ordered the Wave System from [email protected] on 11/14/2023 for $47.97. I have not received anything nor have they responded to any of my emails. Recently a new add has been posted for the same Wave System only from a different web [email protected] both insinuated it was a QVC promotion of old stock. Please nail these scammers

November 15,2023 qvc advertised snow blower 1/1 free $34. I ordered and after 1 month no pkg. called QVC and was told it was a scam

- New Prague, MN, USA

I was on Facebook and I went into a site that I thought was a QVC outlet. I placed an order. I received a shipping website. the shipping information indicated the package was delivered. Did not receive. The charged my credit card $48.

I ordered a ceramic Christmas tree through an online advertisement from QVC. My confirmation email stated my total was $29.97. My credit card was charged $30.87. I contacted them by email (they do not have a phone number) four times to inquire about the over charge. Only twice was I contacted back stating my package was on the way and they never addressed the overcharge. During the time of waiting for the package to arrive I spoke to a person from QVC through a different advertisement and they confirmed I did not purchase through them and that I was probably scammed. I waited for the package. When it arrived it was a very cheap pair of sunglasses. Something you would expect to get out of a gum-ball machine. I sent another email right away stating I ordered a tree and they sent me cheap sunglasses. They responded that my package arrived and to confirm. I wrote back to read my previous email that they didn’t send me what I ordered so I want a refund. They have not responded since. I contacted my credit card to report the scam and to dispute the charge.

Qvc deal on Facebook, i looked at qvc.com and the chairs and deal was on there, Logo also, so i thought was legit.

About 3 weeks ago, and ad on Facebook from what looked to be QVC for rocker camping chairs came up. Unfortunately I fell for the deal of 4 for $49.95. My credit card was entered for purchase, it came through on bank account as pending, then later in the day a charge came through for the amount of the chairs, and a charge for a foreign transaction fee. I imediately contacted my bank, cancelled the card and requested a dispute claim. My bank luckily reimbursed my account, except for the foreign transaction fee, then today I received a scarf in the mail, with the package return address:

Carson

180 Exchange Blvd

Glendale Heights, Il 60139

After searching the internet with this address, many comments came up with the same issues that happened to me.

I hope that reporting this, will be helpful in assisting others that may have also fallen for this scam.
