I googled "Call Quickbooks Online Payroll". At the top of Google's search, appears a large print the phone number and it is identifying itself as Quickbooks Payroll Support 1-855-200-0590. I called the phone number and spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with SNOBER Extension 1005. She asked for online access to my computer and I gave it to her. The software used was "www.connecthelp.support". She knew quite a bit about Quickbooks but was insistent that I pay her $3 per 300 MB used in my account to fix corrupt files, which equals $900. She opened Notepad on my computer and dropped this into it (see below) so she must've had control of my computer all the way. We argued about how I already pay for advanced customer support. I ended up hanging up on her. I searched again and realized I called the wrong number. I reached the REAL Quickbooks and they said I do not have any errors and that I was experiencing fraud. I quickly changed a few passwords but I am very afraid everything has been compromised now. ANyway, I really wish yu can do something to stop these people. They must get dozens of callers a day. Please help me and the public with this issue.
