I have a question. Is quarter-paint-horse a scam or not?
Thanks

i do not understand why all this negative writes up. I bought 2 horses from this farm and the horses were safely delivered and in good health.

Same thing as the two above. My friend asked about a horse named Blevin for me. Thinking it was legit I googled the address on the website and I saw it was for a home for sale. Researched the phone number and up came scampulse. I contacted the real estate agent to let him know his clients could potentially have people coming to their door. This is the second time I experienced scammers in two weeks. People be careful of Equine Trader and EquineNow as its happening on there too

In searching for a horse to purchase, Google provided their website. It is stated on this business site, that they are a cowboy family that bred and sold horses. In fact it states they have 76 horses for sale and have sold 3400 + horses to date. The site is very professional in appearance. They have many pictures and short videos of horses they claim to be selling due to the bank foreclosing on their barn. They claim the low prices they are asking for the horses is due to the urgency of finding a good home for the effected animals. They claim all the tac, ie; saddle, belts, bits etc are included with every purchase and that all of the medical records for each horse are up to date and would be provided to the buyer at the time of sale. They even claim that they can arrange delivery for an alarmingly low price. I corresponded with them through email and it appeared that I was ready to make the purchase arrangement. However, When the individual finally called to discuss details, he had a very thick accent, I believe it was middle eastern. Not what one would expect from a cowboy family. In fact his English was so poor I could barely communicate with him. I verified everything we had been emailing about and asked when the horse could be delivered. He stated as soon as the full payment had been transferred to his account. I explained to him that I would gladly pay the asking price, $1250.00 for the Horse and $650.00 shipping but only after the horse was delivered and I had a chance to verify everything was copasetic. He stated their policy required full payment before releasing the horse for delivery. I calmly explained, how foolish it would be, for me to pay in advance, to someone I have never meet, for a horse I have never actually seen. He ended our conversation abruptly by hanging up on me. I sincerely believe this operator is a scam artist. I must admit they have a pretty attractive web site and the email correspondence was convincing, but in reality the deals were too good to be true. The thick accent, the unacceptable payment requirements along with the abrupt end to our conversation, made it clear to me that this was a racket. Buyer Beware !

This website is nearly identical to the Bakersfield Ranch website and is using the same MO as that scam. Look up Bakersfield Ranch fraud perpetrated by men posing as horse sellers. They’ll ask for money via wire transfer, zelle, cash card, cash app. They will want a deposit & transport fee. Do NOT fall for it! Cyber Crime FBI report is on file.

The posted customer experiences are in broken English & photos are not legitimate.
