I searched "QR CODE GENERATOR FREE"; this one came up first. It is not free.

QR Generator (https://qr-generator.ai)

It has a 10-day free trial, and then you have a subscription option. The QR Codes do not work if you don't pay. Nowhere did the website inform the user that the QR codes are contingent on payment.
