Scammer called to collect $300.00 to close/cancel my account. I had ordered a free sample product (Derma Lumiere Cream), paying $6.95 shipping charge back in 2021. After receiving the product, I used it, didn't like it and called within 14 days to cancel any further shipments. That was 2021. I never received any further shipments. I received a phone earlier today (February 8, 2024) threatening me to pay my balance of over $300.00 or this case would be escalated to collections and could affect my credit score. They gave a fake address in St. George Utah and referred to a stolen credit card number when asked what credit card number paid for the shipping. I verified all the credit card information with my company.
