I think I might have just been scamed

Told to send $300 deposit to be on the waitlist I sent it to a person name Antonious Hardy. Phone number 205-340-1334. I am disappointed in myself. Really thought it was a legit website! Puremunchkinkitten.com is the website. I was looking forward to getting a cute munchkin cat!

Total Rip Off

I filled out a "contact us form" and was contacted via text, with information about the kittens. I was told the kitten I inquired about was not available but they had the others. I picked out 2 that I wanted to purchase. He told me they could use a pet delivery service for $150 each. The kittens would be flown and delivered to my doorstep in 2 days. He wanted me to use Zelle to make the payment. I didn't have Zelle, so they accepted Venmo.

I was having issues with my Venmo going through and he told me nothing else would happen until they received my transaction. He asked for a screenshot of the venmo transaction.

I began to question all of this and we looked online to find his name, Ricardo Mastin, had scammed people before. So I asked him a few more questions and even offered to meet him and pay cash. He accepted and told me to go ahead cancel the venmo and gave me an address in Richmond, Virginia.

I immediately called my bank and tried to cancel this transaction and Venmo. But I was told that it could not be canceled.

I waited a few days and asked where my kittens were since he already received my money. He thought I had canceled the transaction and was coming to meet him.

Once I said I was not able to cancel the transaction and that I found out he was a scammer, he called me a liar and never responded to any other messages.

Hi! I saw your post with pictures of Abby and Princess, I just inquired about them on the website cutemunchkinsforsale,com, phone number 804-487-6730 and email is [email protected]. They sent me a video of Abby, she was so tiny! I notice your post is dated January 2022 and today is 4-28-22 so obviously she is much older than the 11 weeks they are stating. My contact from him was the same. Hope this information helps!

Scammed out of $500.00

Used their website to make contact to purchase munchkin kitten. After several text, receiving information about shots, delivery etc. used ZELLE to pay customer $500.00 to start process. Sent payment to Antonious Hardy-334-327-0440. They said they don't use Paypal but that is a lie because i accidentally sent pymt to address 1st given for pymt to [email protected] & paypal accepted it but i canceled & protected w/paypal. After customer stated since ZELLE has 500 dollar cap to buy vanilla gift card from cvs/walgreens/take pics frt/bk & receipt for remainder $250. That is when i said you guys are scamming me and then i was ghosted & blocked on 804-547-5048 # they originally text me from. They said they are a small cattery in richmond virginia. Donna

Yes I got scammed by an Antonious Hardy too! $300 to be put on a waitlist. I told all my family members too. Now I have to tell them that I got scammed out $300. They told me to make sure it’s legit! I didn’t do that and went in blindly. Oh then when I emailed them inquiring about the kittens they asked if I can send $50 for feeding them. I think that is when it clicked. I need a legit website and reasonable too.

I lost $750 to this scam. I had back and forth conversation with this woman over text all day, she seemed to be educated on kitties and had sent me several videos of the kitten I was interested in. Once i got to the payment options, I followed her directions and then she said she accidentally gave me the wrong email, told me to cancel the transaction and re send it. (You can not cancel transactions through Zelle, money is directly deposited into the other personas account.). I had no idea of this.
When I told her that I could not cancel it, she no longer felt the need to message me.
Zelle is not trustworthy.
Please do not contact this place for a kitten. take my word!
