I contacted a breeder about a bernese mountain puppy paid a deposit for the puppy and was told he would be shipped that same day. I was contacted by the shipping company who asked for more money for shipping insurance as well as an upgraded kennel for shipment. I sent the money not thinking about it they told me they did not recieve the funds and asked for it to be sent again and again

The breeder has told me they are a solid delivery service but he is not longer in contact with me either

The scammer had a very believable website selling tea cup chihuahuas. After contacting them they convinced us to send them $599 for the dog and shipment, which we did using Zelle. They gave us information Zelle needed for us to send the money (name: Rondell Newton and an email lagloriacosts@gmail.com). We could not retract the zelle payment.

After we got suspicious we looked up scams in the ScamPulse.com website. We found their website was already listed as a scam.

We thank the ScamPulse.com website for having Good home teacup chihuahuas listed as a scam so this will not escalate into what the previous scam victim went through.

Went to the website to look for a cocker puppy. Website looked legitimate despite the absence of a telephone number or address. Requested to see info on an available puppy. Did a Google check on the photos and did not appear to be copied. He wanted to just correspond on email but when I didn’t reply fast enough he texted. Even offered free delivery of the dog. Requested name, address, nearest airport at first. Keep on pushing me to pay $800 for dog before he would send contract. Payment was to be Apple Pay, Google Pay or Zelle. I tried to wire the fee through my bank which offered Zelle. They immediately put a 24 hour stay in the transfer because they believed it was a scam. I then asked the scammer to call me which he did. He has a foreign accent and claimed to be from Australia originally. I told him he was a scammer which he denied still trying to have me forward the funds by stating he was a Christian man and would not steal money from anyone. I then asked for his address which turned out to be a medical center in Pittsburg. Thanks to my bank and further questioning I was able to determine the fraud.

I believe that he is a scammer

I was attempting to buy a puppy online. I submitted my name and phone number through their website. Then I began to get text messages. I kept questioning them about being legit and to provide proof. They thought sending pictures of the puppy shows proof. Not so much. They never provided proof and seems offended that I was questioning their integrity. Replaying with comments like I am the father of x number of children, am a christian and care more about placing puppies with good homes and making money etc. The cost was 1/4 of what other breeders were charging. After about 5 text messages back and forth I told him that I wasn't convinced and attached a link for AKC about signs to look for to determine fraud. I never heard from him again.

Thank you for this. I was just in contact with them. Shared a picture of your post and viola … never heard from them again.

My husband attempted to purchase a 10wk old dachshund puppy online from Varchase Dachshund. They are listed as being from Amarillo Texas. My husband filled out their online request form. Emails were sent back and forth. It seemed legit. My husband made a payment via the Zelle app. When he asked to verify a pick up date/time of the dog, Varchase Dachshunds quit responding. Repeated attempts have been made. My husband called his bank to stop payment but they said it had cleared immediately and there was nothing they could do.

They pretended to be dog breeders and sell dogs online. Showed pictures and videos of the dog. When time came to ship the dog to us they asked for more money.

Was going to purchase a puppy, gave them name, address and cell phone #. They sent me information to pay via Apple Pay - 1 (240)784-3044 and Zelle - naasperanza@gmail.com Name Speranza. I tried to make payment and fortunately I typed in the wrong email address and was able to cancel payment. When he confirmed he had not received payment, he sent me another email address - arod1402@gmail.com with the name of Abimael Ruiz. I question him as to how the first account was not valid and he said he was "old school" and didn't know how technology things work" I emailed him back and stated my concerns the neither name matched his of Charles Harrison. Haven't heard back from him

On 5/15/2023, contacted this alleged Nebraska Chihuahua breeder to purchase a 10-week old Chihuahua puppy for $600.00, plus $230 for shipping. I spoke to a man named "Mark", who described their process for puppy purchases, which at that time appeared reasonable. He asked which payment method "can I handle zelle or cashapp." I told him that I didn't know about those ways to pay but could use my credit card. He agreed to take the credit card payment. I provided my credit card number, for a total payment of $830. Later that day, he contacted me saying the payment wouldn't go through, and to contact my credit card company to approve the purchase, which I did. Yesterday (5/16/2023) "Mark" contacted me, advising that he would need an additional $1,000 for an air-conditioned crate for the puppy, due to the hot conditions during the flight, and which 98% of that $1,000 would be refunded upon delivery of the puppy. I did not provide/approve the additional payment and requested that the puppy be shipped another day this week (weather permitting). He said he would get back to me. Something seemed fishy - I logged in to my credit card account. I learned that the payment (in Pending status) was being sent to Nigeria (NG). I called "Mark" back and asked why the payment was being sent to Nigeria, and he replied that he had "several accounts". I immediately contacted my credit card company to put a stop-payment/freeze on the account that I suspected fraud. That couldn't be done because the payment hadn't cleared their "Pending" statut, but the credit card company cancelled the card/card number, and once the payment cleared to file a dispute. I called "Mark", at "Rose Chihuahua Puppies" again, requesting to cancel the puppy order and provide a full refund, to which he advised that a full refund was not possible, because he had to pay for shipping out of his own pocket, and would only be able to refund $650 and "should" receive that amount by the end of the week. Also, I contacted the shipping company that he said he was using - "Blue Collar Transport" - (888.208.6669/bluecollarpettransport.com) - to ask if this breeder was a customer of theirs and about "air-conditioned" crates. The Receptionist at Blue Collar advised me that she had received several calls in the past week about this breeder and his shipping methods, further advising that her company is a ground-transport pet service - No air transport - and believed I (and her several other callers) were scammed, which I believe as well. Today 5/17/2023), checking my credit card account, I found that "Rose Chihuahua" had submitted another charge of $986.10 - I immediately called my credit card company again, and they advised again that I would have to wait for that charge to clear "Pending" status and to file a dispute.

Purchased a puppy, I spoke with a seller and shipping company and it got weird with the shipping company asking for a very large sum of money after I had already paid for shipping and the dog. Then they almost threatened me and made me feel like the dog was being left at this shipping company even though I had told them I wouldn’t be able to pick the dog up until Monday and they tried to shop him the Wednesday before. Being an animal lover, I was willing to do anything to make sure the dog wasn’t living at a shipping place and then they asked for more after that when I was supposed to receive flight info. They used a name Adrianna bland (seller) and joe was the shipping company with a slightly heavy accent.

These people has taken over $750 from my wife. There’s no telling how many other people are out getting scam by these people.

My husband I we relooking for a mini Schnauzer. I found an adorable one on a website that seemed trustworthy and profession. I put in a request for more info about the dog and was immediately contacted. After some back and forth, with them asking personal information, they said they'd let us adopt the dog. I signed a contract and gave them my mailing address and phone number. From there, they didn't respond the way they had been. I got a little worried and tried to look them up on the American Kennel Club's website, and they didn't show up. I did a reverse google image search, and the dog we wanted to adopt popped up from an older website that was listed as scam. It was the identical site with the same logo, just different name of company:

https://puppyscams.org/dwminischnauzers-com

I emailed the seller and presented this information.

Looking for a boxer puppy and she wanted $400 deposit and she kept harassing me asking me when I was going to send it to her.

- Lindenhurst, NY, USA

Advertised on Facebook that a puppy name Lily was for sale for $1,200. The fee included the delivery by a "pet nanny" I received daily videos of Lily and heard from the scammer several times a day. I paid him using Zelle $725.00 but because he gave me so many email addresses I was lucky enough to send it to the incorrect one and did get my money back. Once I realized this was a Scam I tried to get as much information as I could and I put it on my Facebook page. I reported him to Zelle with all the email addresses but was advised that these scammer's are so good at this they keep changing their emails & of course have burner phones. The address I was given is also vacant at the moment. Seller no longer responds to text or IM and it is just terrible that nothing can be done to stop him

So I saw a dog online I wanted to buy from this website. I filled out the form and the person emailed me and I asked for a phone call to make sure it was a real person. This man had a very strong accent and he said he was from NC. I asked some questions about the dog and according to the website, the delivery was a small upcharge of $180. The website said they are shipped in an airconditioned crate and I would have to pick him up from the airport. After paying the man the down payment of $700. I got another email for an adoption contract and an email from the shipping co. All of a sudden I received a phone call from the shipping co. saying they sent me 2 more emails that I need to read carefully. The email was saying I had to purchase life ins. for the dog to travel. I called the owner and he put me on hold and said he called the co and it was legit to pay the $690 and would get it refunded 100% when they deliver the dog. I received another email stating that there would be another charge to buy the proper crate for the dog to ship in and it was almost $2000 more dollars. I refrained from doing this and asked the owner if I could just drive the 400 miles to pick up the dog. He said NO! Neither company sent my money back. I have a lot of emails going back and forth of them begging me to send extra money. I have never been through anything like this and I told the owner that I no longer wanted the dog. All of this should have been disclosed at the beginning and it wasn't and the fact that the 2nd and 3rd emails from the shipping co looked like they were fake and they went to my spam folder instead of the regular folder. When the 1st email went to the regular folder. I saved all the emails and the cash app payments. I disputed through the cash app and also my bank acct too. I hope I can get my money back. I am glad I didn't use Zelle as they requested. So the total that was lost today was $700 for the down payment of the dog and $690 for the pet Ins. Please do not buy anything from this site or the people running the site. The total purchase of the dog online said $1200 plus the upcharge of $180 per the shipping that the owner emailed me. So $1380 total.

This makes me feel so dumb. The bad thing is they have my address because they were going to ship and deliver the dog here to my house. I just want to know what else I need to do. Should I file a police report as well?

Lovelydoberman.com offers to sell Doberman puppies for an affordable price. And they will ship them to your state for an extra fee of $200.

The money was sent, e-mails were exchanged back and forth but no puppy was ever sent on the day it was supposed to be and now we cannot get into contact with seller.
