We have had two occurrences that people come to our home expecting to pick up a dog. In both instances they have paid half the cost they agreed to, agreeing to pay the remainder once picking up the dog. Our house is being targeted as the location for pickup from the scammers on the website previously listed. We have also notified our local state police.

I was searching for teacup puppies for our family to own and I used Google to search “teacup dogs for sale” and I came across the Christensen’s Family Poos link, that indicated that it is a small family owned business that breeds puppies and they put them up for adoption for a price if $700. I inquired by placing application for one of the pups which asks for Name, email, phone number, location in the US (city and state) and a text box that outlines any inquiries/interest in adopting the pup. That is how the contact between seller, who is a scammer, and myself. Additional phone number used by seller is 605-291-4531 and was used to initially text me in response to my inquiry, stating an email was sent to me with detailed info. regarding the pup I wanted to adopt. We have communicated over several days and even provided me a sale contract and the possible refund policy of pup isn’t delivered as it is outline in the contract. Additional phone number listed in the contract is 605-291-4224. The website appeared legitimate complete with reviews and very detailed advertisement of the business. The seeker’s form of payment was Zelle, which included a fee of additional $150 for transportation of the pup through air cargo, and once payment cleared, seller stated he will provide shipping info. The following day I was contacted by Premier Pet Transport from a number 252-679-8172 stating that the pup is in customs and is ready to ship out. A few hours later I received an email notification from the transport company requesting that I select a thermal crate option for the safe transport of the pup and the status is ON HOLD, until I pay for the thermal crate. I forwarded the message to the seller as it should be his responsibility to ensure the safety and shipment of the pup, instead the seller abandoned the issue and seized all communications with me. I have made multiple attempts and have called/emailed to tell him I no longer want to proceed with the transaction and to retrieve the pup and to refund my money due to the inconvenience and the immense stress he left for me to address in transporting the pup to CA, and seller never bothered to respond anymore at the is time. I noticed that the website is no longer the link available on Google search, however, it is replaced by a new link which I 100% believe is the same scammer. The new website is now called Christoperteacuppuppies.com

On Thursday August 31,2023 I found what I thought was a reputable dog breeder that I could get a puppy from. They told me that the puppy was $550. and $150. for shipping him to me. So on Friday morning I sent a money gram payment for $700.00. Their customer service said to please be patient with them and they would ship my puppy soon. Well I didn’t hear anything from them so on Monday Sept 4 I test them again. I explained that I was not happy about the way they had ignored my test. They said that my puppy would be shipped out that day by end of day. When I started questioning them about how, when, and where I was supposed to get him at they told me that they would let me know by end of day. When Tuesday came they said the shipper wanted a $1000. Refundable Deposit. I told them absolutely not. I was not going to pay that amount. Then I asked for my money back since the say on the website that they have a money back guarantee. They said again they would send it by end of day. Now this is Thursday and I haven’t heard from them about my money. I live on social security and do not have that kind of money to throw around. I am 71 years old and wanted the puppy for comfort. However if they are not going to send me the dog they could just give me my money back. I Ahmed filed a complaint with the Distric Attorney office of Consumer Protection Services also. I really don’t want someone else to get scammed. I have the texts the transpired between us saying they would send back my money. I don’t have any address for them just the town, zip code, and phone number.

This person, Johnson Leal Cesar, has a website up to sell mini Australian Shepard puppies. My mother attempted to purchase one. They asked her to send payment but Zelle but her bank doesn't partner with Zelle. So she told them she had CashApp and she sent the money to me to send to the Cash Tag they provided. The cashtag was a completely different name than his. They then sent tracking information and said the puppy was at the airport and she then needed to pay them $1500 to have a crate for the dog which was never mentioned before. The guy called my mom flipping out saying she was stressing the dog because she would not pay the $1500 for the crate. This is when we knew it wasn't real. He proceeded to tell her that he was going to report her for animal cruelty.

I found their website and inquired on Sept 1st, Sept 2nd I got a well typed out email with a ton of information regarding the dog as we well as pictures, videos and a questionnaire for purchase of said dog. It wasn't until after I signed the contract the person Awwal Haroun was texting me asking about the money and contract. When I sent it he claimed he didn't get it and then complained when I showed him the screenshot that bank said it would take 24hrs. He got upset and then even more-so when I called him out.

I found there listing on facebook. After we found someone else local that was trying to scam us also for same type dog. I contacted about a pup. they text me back with info and pictures. they told me the were not a scam as i mentioned the previous problem. they explained the process said i could have the pup here by tomorrow evening and pick up at the airport. $1000 for the Pup $200 for shipping. i asked them to give me few to think on it. I google them to find except there own site all others said they were a scam. so i proceeded to ask some more questions. i gave them my info to ship. they then asked for me to Zelle $600 as a deposit first. i told them i dont have zelle. i only use paypal. after a few minute break they responded with a user name name and email for me to send 600 through paypal. i didnt post that info here. if you need it i have it. i then asked if there are any other fees like insurance or crating as i read here they may try next. they said no. then i asked for there physical address. the previous info is what theysent. i asked for more picks of the pup because looking at the pictures and then there address it felt something didnt add up. thats what i told them they quickly responded well thats our house and i dont know how you want the puppies to show. i asked if they use guaranteed fast shipping express. they didnt respond after a bit i called them on it. i said i located the ScamPulse.com reviews and scam warnings. i have not heard another word so i am sure they are.

Victim did search for reputable Pomeranian breeders near him and "ReputablePomeranianBreeder.com" came up. He ordered a puppy that was to be delivered via SkyExpress Delivery. SkyExpress kept asking him for more money. He call the ScamPulse.com and it was suggested that this transaction was a fraudulent transaction. 

You go to website, and enter name, phone number, email address and puppy you’re interested in and the rep calls you back giving you info about the puppy, sends pictures and video of puppy only to scam you!

I joined the Great Pyrenees Group on Facebook. I saw an ad that said that there were puppies for sale. I received information about the puppies after having seen that someone else made a claim that they received their puppy from that person and that they were really happy with the purchase. The scammer who goes under the name of Pete Quartararo out of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, asked the right questions and answered my questions with knowledge about the breed. The costs of the puppy including shipping he said was $625.00. I send the Zelle payment to the number he provided. Once paid the scammer asked for an additional $500 through an email from a pet shipping services email address for the create which will be needed to transport the puppy. That was never mentioned before; so, I questioned it. I told him that I prefer not to proceed and for him to refund my money. I started to receive calls from the scammer after midnight saying that the payment was due and that no refund would be provided. I called the company (redlined shipping services) he said he would use to ship the puppy confirm and they have not record of it. They also confirmed that they never send me an email to obtain more funds. I reply to the scammer and told him I knew it was a scam and to refund my money to no avail. After careful review of my Zelle transfer the phone number associated with the transaction 706-466-6105 is linked to a Demonte Griffin.

Saw an ad on Facebook for a Cavapoo puppy named Lilly. Charismatic Cavapoo did not want to talk on the phone as they wanted everything done by email. Price was $1200 but I asked if they would take $1000. Sent them $500 by Zelle. This was my first use of Zelle as it was a service that my bank offers. I then asked for them to ship Lilly to me. They said that would be a $250 charge. I sent the rest of the money which now totaled $1250. They then told me that I had to pay a refundable payment, $499.99, to the shipping company for the insurance. Charismatic Cavapoo said they never received the $499.99 payment and asked for it to be resent. We were told that sometimes it takes a few days to receive Zelle money. Email communication continued and then it just stopped and knew at that time I was scammed.

I was scammed out of 850.00 for a bulldog puppy female named Gypsy. I received a health guarantee along with the sellers payment agreement plan. We paid seller Michael Oelling by visa gift card as requested we paid for a pup nanny to bring us the puppy from the airport to our home. Michael sent us videos of the puppy he called to keep in contact with all the documents that needed signed answered our questions like a real pro! Shipping day comes first their was a problem within the info for the flight and so on. His ethnicity was Mexican. He was a great smooth talker he had a answer for everything. I previously had to put my elder dog down due to cancer so here's the time I look for a new puppy to fill my void and this is what my family got. We got NO puppy and lost $850.00. I will NEVER make this mistake again I will do the research of the breeder to my fullest. The problem was I did do research on this one his website was up looked real he contacted us we contacted him.so on. Please do not fall prey to this man scamming families out of money for puppies!

I had purchased a dog online they we supposed to deliver it to my door per the seller of dog.

Charged me 500 for use of crate they said it was refundable. Now they are saying I need to give them 2700 or they cannot deliver the dog to me.

I was never informed of all these extra charges and have not received any paperwork or invoices.

Have fake Facebook and scamming people for money and no dog.

The scammer sent me pictures of the puppy I was wanting to buy. She promised a 45 day money back guarantee. When I decided to go through with the purchase, I chose Paypal as my method of payment. She told me to make the payment on Paypal as "friends and family" and not as "for goods and services" since it puts the money on hold and she doesn't accept on hold payments. Once the money was sent, i got an invoice with tracking, so everything looked legit. But then the day after, I received an email from the shipping company stating that I would need to purchase a special crate before the puppy could be shipped. That's when I realized I was being scammed. I requested a refund, but never heard back from her.

Replied to email, set up shipping receipt, cargo needed more.money to ship puppy. Shipping place did have easilier identifiable phone number or phyiscal address to contact only email that was not answered.

Supposedly the seller's name is Blake Simmons, owner of Blakes Fur Family. We were looking to purchase a maltipoo from a recent litter. We completed an application for a puppy named Hannah. Blake emailed us back that we were approved and that the puppy would cost us $700. I began looking into flights to fly to South Dakota to pick her up. Flights were expensive, so we inquired about the cost to ship her to us. Blake told us that it would only cost an additional $200 to fly her to us. We agreed to pay a total of $900 for Hannah and she would be flown to us late August 2023. Blake emailed us a contract which I signed and returned to him. Blake provided us with a some videos of Hannah and a Zelle email: [email protected]

Name: Tamia simmons. We sent the $900 via Zelle through our bank. The bank stopped payment to the Zelle account because it was not a registered account and they felt that this transaction was possibly fradulent. I emailed Blake regarding the issues with the bank and he advised me to send a wire transfer directly into his bank account. At this point, I became suspicious and started looking into whether or not his website was legitimate. Then he provided me with his daughter's Zelle account, Email: [email protected], Name : Mabel Chacon Blake. I told him that Zelle was out of the question and that we would only be willing to pay for Hannah through Venmo or Paypal. Blake informed me that he did not have Venmo. Less than 5 minutes later he emailed me back the following Venmo info: Venmo name: Taniya Moore, Username: @taniyamoore1, Last digits: 7865. In the meantime we found a picture of the dog we wanted to buy from him on another website. I emailed the link to Blake and asked him why the dog we were looking to buy was on someone else's website from 2021. The only response we received was that that was not the same dog, even though the photos were identical. I want to shut down this person's website so that no one else gets scammed by him. I also provided him with some of my personal information such as name, address, phone number and my signature.

He almost had me today ! I saw red flags --- he kept sending me pictures of Coco when i asked for Hannah. He didnt sign the contract. The email address was not the same. The contract didnt have blake furfamily logo. And he sent a suspicios link for payment : https://unlockt.me/v/6d66b6f27e and he was charging me less then he had quoted. So glad I googled the phone # ---- Reporting the website toooo. Good Luck finding your real furbaby -- Lola

I am in process of trying to get a puppy from them too but I started thinking to myself, before reading your response, that it was a scam! I’m so glad I read this before I signed and sent them $! The contract was fishy to me! You just validated what I was afraid was happening!

My fiance reached out to a lady by the name of "Susan Shemin" on Facebook in regards to a puppy for sale on the platform. She was in contact with her for a period of a few days. She sent her a deposit for the dog, then she received a flight number. Today (The day we were supposed to receive the dog) my fiance received an email saying that the dog needed a proper ventilation crate in order to travel. The lady keeps replying to her, so she is going to request a refund, but our hopes are low.

Jeff Patrick posted about a litter of Doberman puppies he was selling. He posted this in the Doberman Pinscher Puppies for Adoption group on FB. This group has 7.5k members according to the page.

There were several posts of people claiming that they got a puppy from Jeff or heard he was the person to get a puppy from in addition to him being a moderator for the group and being very active in the group.

Jeff shared pictures of the puppies and the parents, pedigree information and we spoke to him on the phone. He provided a bill of sell and confirmed the date, time and location of pick. We paid a deposit which is standard to reserve a puppy. He was late to the initial time and changed the meeting location. Then proceed to say he was on his way for 2 1/2 hours to never show up.

On 7/29/2023, I had sent a message to this company, Tea cup puppies for rehoming and adoption near you! I was looking for a puppy for my son and he fell in love with this one puppy from this company! I received a message back from them and the person introduced themselves as Andy! I asked how much and they said 297 and that is all! That included shipping, owner transfer change and adoption! So i was like wow okay! I sent the 297 through Cash App, but it didn’t work, on their end supposedly! It was already out of my account, and I explained that to them! So then I sent it through Zelle with the information they gave me! Once I paid, they said I should receive the puppy later that day! They said they sent the puppy to the shipping company (Shepherd’s Logistics), and that they will contact me! So I received an email with the tracking number! Now a little bit later I received another message from this shipping agency saying that the crate they brought her in was not suitable for travel and that I needed to rent another crate! They gave me 3 choices, 950 for first class, 650 second class and 350 for third class! So I bought the third class option! Now I was also told that I will be refunded for the crate when the puppy gets here! So my son was extremely excited and we waited and waited and then I received another email stating that the puppy needed 2 vaccines before they could put her on the plane! That was 300, and I was told that I would also get that money back! So now that is 650, this doesn’t include the 297 x 2! Okay then I asked when will the puppy get here and do I pick it up at the airport or how does that work! They said the puppy would be here the next morning and they will bring her to my door! Okay, next morning nothing! Kept messaging them about where the puppy was and that the tracking kept saying “on hold”! They messaged back and said that I needed to purchase something else! That’s when I told them that I didn’t have anymore money! Now they supposedly had a Nanny with the dog and I had to pay for that service! So my son gave me the money and I had to get an Xbox gift card! I did it like an [censored] but after that I didn’t give anymore money! I said for them to send me my puppy! The next day I received another email stating I needed to purchase pet insurance for 145 and then the puppy would be on its way! I told them I did not need to purchase pet insurance that I can do that through my vet! I also told them to cancel the whole thing and give me my money back! I messaged the people who I adopted her from to give me my money back! I kept getting we can do this! Just pay the 145 and I told them I have no more money and no dog! Then they kept asking how much I could give them! I told them again to refund my money! I have all the emails and messages! I called my bank and sent them 83 pages for fraud and they declined my claim stating I authorized it! Well I thought I was getting a puppy! So then the bank said they will try to get the money back since I didn’t receive the product! Well that fell through, them saying they couldn’t get through the get my money! So I am out 1277.
